Pokémon - Video Game Championship Series

The Video Game Championship series for the 2015-2016 series is about to begin and The Pokémon Company has put out full details on the Autumn Regionals, as well as the CP changes as well as additional competitions including Enhanced Premier Challenges and Midseason Showdown. As such, we have updated our 2016 VGC section with the full details. This page will be updated with all additional competitions as they get announced

Pokémon - Shiny Rayquaza

For those of you in Australia & New Zealand, the Shiny Rayquaza event is due to end on Monday. This event is available by getting a Serial Code from EB Games across the country. This Shiny Rayquaza is only obtainable in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire and comes with the move Dragon Ascent that allows for it to Mega Evolve and can be redeemed beyond Monday.

Pokémon Shuffle - Events

The current Escalation Battle on Pokémon Shuffle is to come to a close. This challenge provides you access to the Pokémon Darkrai. It runs until Monday August 31st at 06:00 UTC. This event is an Escalation Battle which has increase in difficulty and rewards as you beat it more, and also makes it easier to catch Darkrai the higher the stage's level. At Level 5 you get EXP Point *1.5, Level 10 a Disruption Delay, Level 30 a Mega Start and at Level 50, 100, 150 and 200 it gives a Mega Speedup.

Pokémon Shuffle - Events

The crrent repeat of the Mega Evolution Challenge is due to end on Monday. This stage is for Mega Venusaur and runs until August 31st at 05:00 UTC. If you're in the top 65,000 in Japan, 25,000 in North America or 16,000 in Europe, you will get the Venusaurite, or a Jewel if you already have it. If you're in the top 5,000 in Japan, 2,000 in North America or 1,200 in Europe, you will also get a Mega Speedup. If you didn't qualify for the Venusaurite but were in the top 80,000 for Japan, 30,000 for North America or 20,000 in Europe you will get an Attack Power Up item and if you don't qualify for that, you will get a Disruption Delay.
