Kangaskhan

Kangaskhan, The Parent Pokémon. It raises its young in its pouch. The baby Kangaskhan rarely leaves the pouch until it is 3 years old. If its safe, the youngster gets out of the pouch to play with it's Mother keeping an eye on it. To protect it's young...it will never give up in a battle, no matter how wounded it is.

Strategy Using Kangaskhan

Well, to all of the ladies in the house, here is one of your most fiercesome reps in the world of pokemon, Kangaskhan. Why they would name a female only pokemon after a tyrant I shall never know. Khan really doesn't have many strategy moves nor does it have much in the way of status inflicting moves. What our proud mother does best is rip apart enemies who dare threaten her child, and boy, does she do that quite well. I have given her 4 attacks that, with EVs and her good attack, will rip right into most opposing pokemon in no time, leaving them fainted, and her beloved baby kangas safe for another day. Return is basic STAB move 101 really, Double-Edge hurts without a cool trait like Rock Head, it is a shame cause with the STAB it would be very good, but I don't want the recoil damage nonetheless. The rest of the attacks, put simply, are just "filler" moves that are great. Not really filler, but just plain obvious and fill in every other situation that Kangs can run into and has any prowless in, aka physical attack. Now, before I get a single e-mail about the following two things, I will answer them here. Shell Bell is more effective in this case, Kanga will have big hits on it, shell bell cuts thso ebig hits in half, and leftovers just won't cut it on a physical pokemon like kanga who is usually there to rip through a team, and go out with a bang. Secondly, early bird is useless. Yes, I have just ruined your hopes and dreams. I have no liking for early bird whatsoever. I refuse to use rest in r/s simply because of an over rated trait. If yuo e-mail me suggesting this I will not be happy.

EV Corner:

Put em all into HP and attack, the more hits you can take and the more damage you can deal, the better.

Strategy Against Kangaskhan

Same old tune, attack it until it falls over dead. Fighting types are kind of slow for this, so maybe have something with incredible speed that knows brick break, or even a dragon dancer should easily take care of Kanga. In R/S speed is basically everything, so if you have a hard htiting, and very fast pokemon, kanga will be in trouble.

Contest Moveset

The best Moveset for Kangaskhan would have to be this for the Beauty Contest best with Modest, Mild, Rash or Quiet Nature:

Attacks:

Hail
Blizzard
Sunny Day
Flamethrower

Items Attached:

Blue Scarf

Strategy Using Kangaskhan

If you do the attacks in this following order you should have very few problems; 001st = Hail, 2nd = Blizzard, 3rd = Sunny day, 4th = Flamethrower, 5th = Blizzard
