Pokémon Assists are essentially enhancements to your Capture Styler that give certain added effects in order to help you capture your Pokémon. There are 18 in total and they are all utilised in a time scale that fits the Pokémon. If its a base form then the time will be a matter of seconds, while if its the final form, it could get up to even a minute and the assists even do more damage if utilised on a Pokémon it is Super Effective Against

Normal

The Normal Pokémon Assist, utilised by Normal type Pokémon, has the least affect on the outcome. When implemented into your Capture Styler, the damage that is taken by the Pokémon when surrounded by the Normal Line is slightly higher than if the Styler had no assist at all

Fire

The Fire Pokémon Assist, utilised by Fire type Pokémon, does a decent effect on the Pokémon. When you successfully circle them, ontop of the damage from that, they are hit by a flame which adds extra damage and causes the opponent to attack less for a brief period

Water

The Water Pokémon Assist, utilised by Water type Pokémon, has no effect if you're just circling. However, while circling, a bubble will appear underneath your stylus. Whenever you wish to, you can flick the bubble at an opponent to cause decent damage and slow them down for a short period of time

Electric

The Electric Pokémon Assist, utilised by Electric type Pokémon, also has no effect if you're just circling. However, when you touch the styler down, it will create a small point that will have a bit of thunder shoot down and zap the opponent. This temporarily paralyzes them and causes decent damage

Grass

The Grass Pokémon Assist, utilised by Grass type Pokémon, doesn't have too much of an effect on the Pokémon. When it is utilised, it leaves grass around the stage and if the opponent walks onto it, they are slowed down giving you more time to quickly strike

Ice

The Ice Pokémon Assist, utilised by Ice type Pokémon, does not affect the Pokémon just by rotating. Like the Water Assist, when you rotate, a snowball will grow under your styler. You have the ability to flick it at the enemy to cause damage. This then freezes them, causing temporary paralysis to allow you to get in and capture them

Fighting

The Fighting Pokémon Assist, utilised by Fighting type Pokémon, is one of the most useful assists in the game. It essentially doubles the damage that you inflict upon your enemy when you circle them. It has no further effect

Poison

The Poison Pokémon Assist, utilised by Poison type Pokémon, does not affect the Pokémon just by rotating. Like the Water Assist, when you circle, a Poisonous Puddle will start to form beneath the styler. Once its at the desired size, you can flick it at the enemy to cause damage and to slow their attacks

Ground

The Ground Pokémon Assist, utilised by Ground type Pokémon, is a rather unique Assist in that it affects everyone on the stage rather than anyone it circles or is aimed at. When you move the styler, the ground starts shaking. This causes damage to the Pokémon and prevents them from attacking for a short time. Utilise this in tandem with the circling for maximum effect.

Flying

The Flying Pokémon Assist, utilised by Flying type Pokémon, utilises its effect by circling the Pokémon. When you circle, a whirlwind will start forming within the circle. The amout of whirlwinds and their size depends on how long and much you circle the Pokémon. These whirlwinds will damage the Pokémon

Psychic

The Psychic Pokémon Assist, utilised by Psychic type Pokémon, also utilises its effect by circling the Pokémon. When you circle, a psychic wave will develop in the eye of the circle. When you stop circling it, you have the ability to flick it at your opponent for decent damage and paralysis

Bug

The Bug Pokémon Assist, utilised by Bug type Pokémon, is another assist that doesnt require any circling. When you place the styler down, some bug goo is placed. You have the ability to stretch this out. Once done, let go of it and it will fly off in the opposite direction to that you pulled. If it hits, it will cause decent damage and slow down the enemy

Rock

The Rock Pokémon Assist, utilised by Rock type Pokémon, is another assist that doesnt require any circling. When you place the styler down, some rocks form at the tip of the Styler. You have the ability to flick these at the opponent to do decent damage

Ghost

The Ghost Pokémon Assist, utilised by Ghost type Pokémon, is another assist that requires circling in order to work. When you circle rapidly away from any Pokémon, several spooky gas spirits will show up. These will float around the stage and if they hit the Pokémon, they will damage them

Dragon

The Dragon Pokémon Assist, utilised by Dragon type Pokémon, is another assist that requires no circling in order to work. When you place the styler down, a shadow will arrive. The longer you hold, the bigger the shadow. After you let go, wait a couple of seconds and a massive meteor will fall down and explode, damaging anything within the vicinity

Dark

The Dark Pokémon Assist, utilised by Dark type Pokémon, is a unique assist in that it doesnt add to the damage utilised. Instead, if you circle any obstacles that have been placed on the stage, they will disappear, giving you more room to work

Steel

The Steel Pokémon Assist, utilised by Steel type Pokémon, is another assist that requires circling to work. As you circle, a massive energy ball surrounds the tip. Once its at a desired size, you have the ability to flick it at the opponent. This causes decent damage and prevents the opponent from attacking for a short time

Charge

The Charge Pokémon Assist, utilised by several Electric type Pokémon, is likely to be the assist that you use the most. Usable both in and out of battle as a field ability, you have the ability to recharge your Capture Styler. Level 1 charges by 10HP, 2 by 20, 3 by 30 and 5 by 50. Its always best to have a Pokémon with this assist on your team
