The Pokémon Company have revealed the next Japanese Pokémon TCG set. This set is Mega Dream ex, a High Class set which focuses on Mega Evolved Pokémon. This set is due for release in Japan on November 28th 2025 and includes the special new art cards that were revealed at the Pokémon World Championships as well as the first cards for Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

Battles run from 00:00 UTC on November 7th to 23:59 UTC on November 9th. This competition also gives 10,000 League Points to all players who complete 3 or more battles
Players enrolled in the Pokémon Championship Series can earn Championship Points for ranking.

The DLC will release on December 10th 2025
There are two new Mega Evolutions that have been revealed, Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur. Mega Baxcalibur will be available as the Season 4 Rank Up reward for Ranked Battles and Mega Chimecho is a Psychic/Steel-type
Pokémon will be able to exceed Level 100 in the DLC through special Donuts that temporarily boost the Level when in Hyperspace. These donuts are made using Berries including special Hyperspace Berries and boost up a Pokémon's level, as well as its stats while the donut's effect is in place.

A new distribution has begun in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. If you go to Mystery Gift -> Receive via Internet, you will get a special Diancite Mega Stone. This item will then unlock a special Side Mission, Shine Bright like a Gemstone, which follows a story starting at the Looker Bureau that ends with you encountering a Diancie. You need to have finished the main story to activate this event

Pokémon Legends: Z-A's Ranked Battle Season 1 has begun. This season is the second for the Z-A Battle Club and features battles to get rewards by earning points in the battle, and allows for use for Xerneas & Yveltal. This season will run until November 26th at 05:59 UTC
Players who reach Rank Y will get a Greninjite Mega Stone immediately to Mega Evolve their Greninja into Mega Greninja and players who reach Rank S will get a Delphoxite to Mega Evolve their Delphox into Mega Delphox, adding it into the game.

A new patch is live for Pokémon Legends: Z-A. This patch brings the game up to Version 1.0.2 and features a variety of small bug fixes. The update is required to go online.
This update fixes the issue where if you fill all boxes before the first Rogue Mega Evolution Battle, Side Missions that require you to catch a Pokémon would not let you catch any Pokémon
It fixes an issue where if the time of day changes at the same time as using a move, it doesn't register
It fixes an issue where if the opponent switches and the player Mega Evolves at the same time, a new Pokémon doesn't get sent out
Various other bug fixes have been applied
It also adjusts the rewards of Ranked Battles and the points earned so you will never decrease in points

Lure Modules will then last for four hours beyondt the event to attract Pikipek including Pikipek with the Special Background
It will also give out the move Beak Blast to Toucannon. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research .

Pokémon GO
Pokémon GO has announced the first PokéLid Stamp Rally for Japan. With the PokéLid Stamp Rally, starting November 7th in Kyushu and Okinawa, when you open the game int hose areas you will get a sticker sheet. Visit the PokéStops for the PokéLids in the area to get a Stamp. Every 2 Stamps will get you a Pikachu encounter with a special background
Unlike other Stamp Rallies, you will also be able to share the stamp with a friend, but those shared stamps do not get encounters.
At a later date, Hokkaido & Tohoku, Kanto, Chubu, Kinki, Chugoku & Shikoku will also have Stamp Rallies for the PokéLids

A new Pokémon GO tie-in event has been revealed for Japan. To commemorate the opening of the Pokémon Astronomical Observatory in Sagamihara, Kanagawa from tomorrow November 1st to January 12th, a special event will be held around the museum
Pikachu, Clefairy, Porygon, Elgyem, Gothita, Solrock, Lunatone, Dusclops, Magneton, Starmie, Espeon and Umbreon will spawn in the wild, all with a chance of being Shiny
There will be Field Research to encounter Pokémon such as Solrock, Lunatone and Clefairy with a special background

One new piece of Holowear has been released for Pokémon UNITE. This is the Fairy-Tale Style Holowear for Gengar which is obtained by through a spceial event Treasure Chest. This Holowear is a new rarity of Holowear which includes animations for Moves, movement, Unite Moves and more.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A Coverage
The pokémon Company has put out a few notes for coming changes to the game. In addition to the change in Mega Stone distribution through Ranked Battle announced yesterday, they have said that in coming seasons, points will be adjusted to prevent points from decreasing. The battle rewards will also be increased and have more items added to it. Mega Stones will also return more frequently than originally planned
They have also said two fixes are coming soon:
If your boxes are completely full before the first Rogue Mega Evolution battle and the boxes had never been opened, catches will always fail and Side Missions that give Pokémon will not give that Pokémon. This will be rectified
In some side missions, if the time of day changes at the exact time your move hits the target, you'll be unable to hit the target afterward. This will also be rectified

The new Pokémon TCG Pocket set, Mega Rising is now live in the game and so our coverage of this set is beginning. We're currently compiling full details of all the new additions to the game with this set so be sure to keep checking our section.

A trio of special events are now live in Pokémon TCG Pocket
First, a special First Anniversary Special Missions Part 1 set of missions is live. These missions give you a variety of rewards including Mega Evolution themed cosmetic items as well as a new Emblem
A special PROMO Reissue Wonder Pick Event 2025 event is live. This event gives you a chance to get all the Wonder Pick Promo cards from the past year again through Wonder Picks. Complete missions for a Shop Ticket that can be exchanged for 1 Promo card of your choice. This event runs until November 9th
Finally, a special PROMO Reissue Drop Event 2025 event is also live. This event features battles against almost all prior Drop event Advance Decks which offer a 100% chance of getting its associated Booster Pack upon completion. It also has missions to obtain a Shop Ticket to pick a Promo card of your choice. This event runs until November 9th

Pokémon Legends: Z-A - Ranked Battle Season 2
Pokémon Legends: Z-A's Ranked Battle Season 2 has been announced. This season will run from November 6th 2025 at 06:00 UTC to November 26th at 05:59 UTC. It also allows Xerneas & Yveltal to be used unlike the first season, but Zygarde is still not allowed
Players who reach Rank E and above will also receive Dream Balls at the end of the season.
We've added all known details in our Ranked Battle Season 2 section including available Pokémon and rewards

The Pokémon Company International have revealed that they will take over the Outernet London venue for a second time in London, UK from November 8th at 10am to 7pm and November 9th from 11:15 am to 7pm. During this takeover, they will take over two rooms of the the Now Building to show off the digital experiences based off of Pokémon TCG Pocket including mega sized openings of Mega Rising cards
In the Now Pop 1 room, DJ Pikachu will appear playing tracks from the DJ set that preceeded the Pokémon Presents in July. Players can also do a Wonder Pick and receive a code to redeem pack hourglasses in Pokémon TCG Pocket
In Now Pop 2 room, there will be a playable demo for Pokémon Legends: Z-A

The Pokémon GO Pass: November has been announced. This will run from November 4th through December 2nd 2025. As before, a free track is available for all players who gain access, or you can purchase to get even more rewards
The Pass will include encounters with Pokémon like Virizion, as well as Stardust, candy, Poké Balls, and if you purchase then you'll get a Lucky Trinket, additional encounters and premium items
At Rank 25 you will be able to open 40 gifts a day, receive up to 125 gifts a day and hold up to 30 gifts in your bag. If you get the Deluxe pass, you will be able to open 50 a day, receive up to 150 a day from PokéStops and Gyms and hold up to 40 in your bag
At Rank 50 you will get 2* Daily Adventure Incense duration
At Rank 75 you will get 2* Stardust & Experience from Eggs

During this event, Mega Lucario will be in Mega Raids at the participating stores> There will also be Timed Research when you open Pokémon GO around these stores to get Experience, Stardust and an encounter with Lucario

The next Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Online Competition has been announced. This competition is the Grand Challenge 2026 II competition and runs standard Regulation H rules.
Registration is open from 00:00 UTC on October 30th through November 6th at 23:59 UTC while battles run from 00:00 UTC on November 7th to 23:59 UTC on November 9th.
This competition also gives 10,000 League Points to all players who complete 3 or more battles
Players enrolled in the Pokémon Championship Series can earn Championship Points for ranking.

The game has been out almost two weeks now and our coverage of the game is almost complete
Our Pokémon Legends: Z-A Pokédex, Legends: Z-A Attackdex are now updated with all the new details. The New Mega Evolutions and Lumiose City Pokédex and our Lumiose City Interactive Map pages are also up to date with full spawns
