Pokémon Legends: Z-A's Ranked Battle Season 5 has been announced. This season will run from January 8th at 06:00 UTC to January 29th at 01:59 UTC. It also allows for use of Lumiose Pokédex #001-227 and Hyperspace Pokédex #001 - 127, 131 and 132, allowing Mythical and Sub-Legendary Pokémon
Players will be able to get the Greninjite at Rank Y, the Delphoxite at Rank X, Chesnaughtite at Rank W, Baxcalibrite at Rank V and Sceptilite at Rank S

A new trainer has been added to Pokémon Masters EX's Trainer Lodge. From now on, if you have obtained Ball Guy & Amoonguss already, you have the ability to invite them into the Trainer Lodge to befriend. If you get the Friendship Level to 100, you will now be able to get the new Sync Pair, Ball Guy & Voltorb. We have updated our Trainer Lodge Topics page to include the points each topic will give you when you speak to Ball Guy
Alongside this, a new Poké Fair Scout is now live allowing you to get the sync pair of Lance & Dragonite. This runs until February 1st 2026

This is the Grand Challenge IV competition and is the fourth online competition of the season that give players a chance to earn Championship Points towards their 2026 Pokémon World Championships invite. Registration runs until January 8th at 23:59 UTC with battles following on January 9th - 11th.
This competition also gives 100,000 League Points, a Gold Bottle Cap and an Ability Patch to all players who complete 3 or more battles

At Rank 25 you will be able to open 40 gifts a day, receive up to 125 gifts a day and hold up to 30 gifts in your bag. If you get the Deluxe pass, you will be able to open 50 a day, receive up to 150 a day from PokéStops and Gyms and hold up to 40 in your bag
At Rank 50 you will get 2* Daily Adventure Incense duration
At Rank 75 you will get additional rewards from raids and Max Battles in-person

The next Pokémon GO events for January 2026 have been fully detailed.
Genesect Burn Drive & Genesect Chill Drive will be in 5 Star Raids from January 5th through January 16th alongside Mega Blaziken
Thundurus will be in Raids from January 16th through January 25th alongside Mega Sceptile
Tornadus will be in Raids from January 25th to February 4th alongside Mega Ampharos
Dynamax Drampa will be added on January 5th
Events have also been revealed for the month
The High Zaptitude event will run from January 13th through January 18th
The Precious Pals event will run from January 20th through 25th
The Precious Pals: Taken Over event will run from January 23rd through 25th
The Into the Depths event will run from January 27th through February 1st

The next Pokémon GO event is rolling out globally. This is the first part of the Winter Holiday event which features a special Event Pass to get various costume Pokémon, as well as the introduction of costume Sudowoodo and Charjabug into the game

The third and final bingo reward panel is now live for the Delibird's Delivery event in Pokémon Café ReMix. This panel gives a number of tasks which, if completed, give you Delibird's Stylish Snow outfit. These need to be completed before the event ends on December 21st 2025

The Pokémon Café ReMix event, Collect with Gholdengo, has made its repeated return. This event has Gimmighoul appear as icons in Main & Master Café stages. If you collect them, you can earn rewards including Gholdengo. It runs until December 11th at 05:59 UTC
