Pokémon Legends: Z-A - Ranked Battle Season 4

Pokémon Legends: Z-A's Ranked Battle Season 3 has been announced. This season will run from December 18th 2025 at 06:00 UTC to Januar 7th at 01:59 UTC. It also allows for use of Lumiose Pokédex #001-227 and Hyperspace Pokédex #001 - 112 with no Rstricted Pokémon allowed
Players will be able to get the Greninjite at Rank Y, the Delphoxite at Rank W, Chesnaughtite at Rank U and Baxcalibrite at Rank S
Players who reach Rank E and above will also receive Safari Balls at the end of the season.

Ahead of its release shortly, we have details on the Pokémon Legends: Z-A 2.0.0 patch notes containing the details of what they have changed
First the patch will add a variety of returning and new Pokémon that all players will be able to trade, transfer and battle with regardless of if they bought the DLC
Several bug fixes have been applied

The next Pokémon Sleep event has been revealed. This is the Holiday 2025 event to celebrate the game's 1st Anniversary and runs from December 22nd at 04:00 local time through December 29th at 03:59 local time. It adds Cetoddle, Cetitan and Holiday Spheal to the game
This event gives extra ingredients for Ice or Steel-type helpers, and their skills are increased by 25% chance for activation and boosted by 3 levels. Snorlax will also have Rawst and Belue Berries as their favourites

It has been confirmed that the Mega Stones for Mega Sceptile, Mega Blaziken and Mega Swampert will be available through Ranked Battle in future seasons of Pokémon Legends: Z-A's Ranked Battle. These Mega Stones will be only available in Ranked Battle but you do not require purchasing the DLC to get them. Sceptilite will be in Ranked Battle Season 5, Swampertite in Ranked Battle Season 6 and Blazikenite in Ranked Battle Season 7

The next Pokémon GO Community Day has been announced. This event will run on January 18th 2026 will focus on Grookey. This event will 3* Catch Stardust, 2* Catch Experience and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and 1 hour Lure Modules.
It will also give out the move Frenzy Plant to Rilaboom and Rillaboom will get the new move Drum Beating from this event. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research which offers multiple encounters with Grookey
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone

Pokémon GO has announced a new feature that is gradually rolling out. This feature is a new level of Friendship as well as Remote Trades. This is gradually rolling out, starting today with New Zealand
When you become Forever Friends with other players, you'll be able to Remote Trade. You can keep engaging with Forever Friends to earn more Friendship Points to get more experience and more Remote Trades, but you can only have one Remote Trade available with a Forever Friend at a time
Friendship Pointsare to be added to track friendship progression. You can earn one Friendship Point a day with a friend
With Remote Trades, each player takes turns to select up to 3 of a friend's tagged Pokémon to receive. These wishlists are sent to the other trailers and when each player selects it, they can then review and confirm or cancel. Swinub, Snorunt, Spheal, Sudowoodo & Charjabug may spawn in the wild

Pokémon Café ReMix has received its Version 6.4.0 update which contains all the contents for the next month of events. Alongside this, some changes have been made
You can obtain delivery stamps doing regular deliveries and when you reach 50 you get the Almighty Macaron and 100 you get the Classic Kitchen Note. The Almighty Macaron can be used on Pokémon of any Category and the Classic Kitchen Note can be used on any Pokémon that has a hidden specialty gimmick. At 150 Deliveries, you will automatically get the focus of the Delivery. This is lowered from the previous 999 Point requirement
New gimmicks are to be added to the game: Milk & Berry Jam, and Chocolate whip. They'll be available in future events
The points required for future Café Pop-up event rewards has been reduced

This distribution came through a Nintendo Newsletter in Japan and provides 5 Max Revives, 10 Full Restores and 10 Ultra Balls to help prepare for ZA Royales, Rogue Mega Evolution battles and catching Pokémon in anticipation of the coming DLC. The code is PREPAR1NG and runs until March 31st 2027

Pokémon Europe International Championships

Details have been released for the Pokémon Europe International Championships.
Registration for both Spectators and Competitors opens on December 16th at 19:00 UTC. Spectator passes cost Ł30 per person for Multi Day or Ł15 per person for Single Day
Activities will be available. The Programming Stage will be back with panels including the TCG Artist Spotlight and the Cosplay Showcase, as well as new panel formats that will be revealed later
There will be Autograph and Meet & Greets with TCG artists, Pokémon Partners and Notable Trainers. This time it will be in their own space and will have interest lists which open on January 20th 2026
There will be a Collect and Trade Area as well as Activity Zones and Merchants as with prior EUICs
There will be a Pokémon Museum to view EUIC history, iconic cards and video games and more
Like with NAIC and Worlds earlier this year, there will be Pin Trading
The Pokémon Play Lab will make a return
As with past EUIC, a Pokémon Center store will be at the event. Entry will require a reservation. It will sell exclusive EUIC products as well as a selection of Pokémon Center merchandise

Pokémon Friends has received a brand new update, bringing the game to Version 1.1. This update adds many new Pokémon and yarn, as well as 10 new minigames to complete. When a stage reaches Level 6, you will receive more yarn each time it levels up. This starts with Scrap Yarn which turn into any yarn when you collect 5, but at Level 9 and above you will get standard yarn

A new distribution has begun in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. If you go to Mystery Gift -> Receive via Internet, you will get a special Mewtwonite X & Mewtwonite Y Mega Stones. This item will then unlock a special Side Mission, Project M, which follows a story starting at the Lysandre Labs that ends with you encountering a Mewtwo. You need to have finished the main story to activate this event No end date has been given for this distribution

The next 7 Star Tera Raid Battle event has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This event will feature a battle against a Dragapult with the Dragon Tera Type and the Mightiest Mark. It can only be caught once per save file.
This event will run from 00:00 UTC on December 5th through 23:59 UTC on December 7th and again from December 12th through December 14th with Blissey joining it for the second run

The next Pokémon GO event has been announced. This is the Well Armed event and is due to run December 11th at 10:00 to December 16th at 20:00 local time and adds Clobbopus & Grapploct into the game
There will be Global Challenges focused around defeating Max Battles during this event. Once the challenge is complete, Clobbopus will spawn in the wild, alongside Mienfoo and Jangmo-o and you will get increased Candy from Max Battles
There will be 2* Catch Candy and increased chance of shiny Dynamax Hitmonlee and Dynamax Hitmonchan
Poliwag, Machop, Makuhita and Octillery will spawn in the wild
There will be Field Research for Fast TMs, Charged TMs and encounters with Dynamax Hitmonlee & Dynamax Hitmonchan
There will be paid Timed Research to get 6 Rare Candy, 3 Rare Candy XL, 1600 Max Particles and more

If you get the Friendship Level to 100, you will now be able to get the new Sync Pair, Hilda & Mienfoo. We have updated our Trainer Lodge Topics page to include the points each topic will give you when you speak to Hilda

Pokémon Legends: Z-A's Ranked Battle Season 3 has begun. This season is the second for the Z-A Battle Club and features battles to get rewards by earning points in the battle, and allows for use for Zygarde. This season will run until December 18th at 05:59 UTC
Players who reach Rank Y will get a Greninjite and players who reach Rank V will get a Delphoxite. Players who reach Rank S will get a Chesnaughtite to Mega Evolve their Chesnaught into Mega Chesnaught, adding it into the game.

A new patch is live for Pokémon Legends: Z-A. This patch brings the game up to Version 1.0.3 and features a variety of small bug fixes. The update is required to go online.
This update fixes an issue where players may have been unable to claim a Mega Stone reward in Ranked Battle during Season 2 even if they reached the rank to achieve it. Players affected by this can claim the Mega Stone when they go to the Ranked Battle screen

At Rank 50 you will get 2* Daily Adventure Incense duration
At Rank 75 you will get additional rewards from raids and Max Battles in-person
