The title for the thirty-third episode of this season and the 606th episode total has been ammended by Cartoon Network Schedule. This episode features Ash & Co. arrive in Twinleaf Town for the Twinleaf Festival. While there, they meet up with Dawn's mother. However, soon after that, Dawn and her mother have a Pokémon battle. This episode is to be called Strategy Begins At Home as opposed to "The Mother of All Battlers" previously reported and is scheduled to air on the 2nd of January. The Advent Calendar is set to be removed tomorrow. On it, there are 24 days worth of Puzzles and Wallpapers so if you have yet to download and save these, you should do so now if you do so wish. Once again going into the 4th Generation Competitive Battling strategies, we are covering our one-hundred & fourty-sixth Pokémon. Today, we are covering a Pokémon introduced within the fourth generation. This Pokémon is one of a handful of Pokémon that are unable to be evolved into from the pre-evolutions within the upcoming HeartGold & SoulSilver games. By controlling its body heat, it can freeze the atmosphere around it to make a diamond-dust flurry.. So here it is, the one hundred & fourty-sixth featured Pokémon, Glaceon.

HGSS WiFi Event; Yellow Forest

Yesterday, he official website announced that the Yellow Forest PokéWalker Course, released earlier this year over WiFi, is scheduled for a second WiFi release with the Japanese versions of HeartGold & SoulSilver next month. This event will run from February 16th 2010 to February 28th 2010 making it last only two weeks, following on from the Mew Download. A second dub title was also revealed by the MSN TV schedule. This is the episode title for the thirty-fifth episode of this season and the 608th episode total. This episode features Ash & Co. getting shrunk down in a tent at the Twinleaf Festival to be a size smaller than the Pokémon themselves. A third dub title was also revealed by the MSN TV schedule. This is the episode title for the thirty-sixth episode of this season and the 609th episode total. HeartGold/SoulSilver - Pokéthlon Pokémon Listings

Based on a suggestion and with help from yaminokame, we have edited our Pokéthlon Pokémon listing to not just show the maximum Pokéthlon stats for each Pokémon, but also to show the base stats. These stats are all variable based on the Pokémon's nature but the base always stay the same. These can then be improved by blending Apricorns. The Pokédex was also updated with these updates

HeartGold/SoulSilver - PokéWalker Course Complete Listings

With thanks to yaminokame, we have been able to update the PokéWalker Area listings with the definite amount of steps required to activate each Pokémon and each item in their respective courses. These steps are counted seperately each day so the peripheral requires decent use. In addition to that, we have added another listing for each Area detailling the special types that are suggested to bring into the course. If you bring a Pokémon of that type into the course, the amount of steps required for Pokémon is reduced by 25% so it's always best to plan the course you're going to enter based on the Pokémon you wish to train. Another new password has been revealed for the European version of Pokémon Rumble. This password gives you access to a special Shiny Bidoof with the Gutsy Trait and the attacks Superpower & Hyper. The US version of this password was released last month unofficially. This password is 2424-3624 for the European version and as a reminder, 5575-2435 for the US password. Pokémon HGSS European Date Rumour

Although it is likely to be nothing but rumour, English retailler Play.com has begun listing Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver for release in Europe on March 26th 2010. This date is obviously not confirmed and is likely to just be a placeholder date. Normally, I don't tend to report on every date retaillers post but this one does fall on the right day for Nintendo to release games in Europe. There will likely be a press release for the European Date soon and as soon as Nintendo announce it, we'll post it here

Today, we are covering a Pokémon introduced within the second generation. To tie in with it being Christmas on Friday, we are covering the Pokémon considered to be a Reindeer Pokémon. Staring at its antlers creates an odd sensation as if one were being drawn into their centers.Its curved antlers subtly change the flow of air to create a strange space where reality is distorted. So here it is, the one hundred & fourty-fifth featured Pokémon, Stantler.

Another new password has been revealed for the Japanese version of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Adventure Squad Series by the Daisuki Club. This password gives you access to a special Alternate Coloured Roserade. This Roserade is the only Pokémon of an Alternate Colour given by passwords that is over Level 5. Charity Speed Run

Last night, the people at The Speed Gamers began a highly ambitious speed run of all the Pokémon games. Their aim is to capture all Pokémon from Bulbasaur up to Arceus with no external trades. They are going to be playing through Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, LeafGreen, Diamond, Pearl, HeartGold & SoulSilver. These will be running with several games at a time in an effort to capture whatever Pokémon they can. This is due to last 72 hours and all proceeds from donations are going to the very worthy Ally's House cause to help children struck with cancer and their families out. Earlier this month, to coincide with the release of Pokémon Rumble on WiiWare, a special promotional set was released featuring a new way to play the TCG game. This 16 card set costs $10 and is out everywhere now. With thanks to SkittyOnWailord, who just got his set of it, we now have scans and have added them to the Card section. The official site last night announced that they will be holding an event for the Pikachu Coloured Pichu in the near future. This Pichu, when traded to HeartGold & SoulSilver will activate the special Spiky Eared Pichu in Ilex Forest. This is the Pichu that recently featured in the Arceus & The Jewel of Life movie. The event details are not currently known but as soon as Nintendo reveals it, I will post it here. HGSS WiFi Event; Champ Path

HGSS WiFi Event; Champ Path

The latest issue of CoroCoro magazine has come out and has announced that the Champ Path PokéWalker Course, released earlier this year at the Battle Road Tournement, is scheduled for WiFi release with the Japanese versions of HeartGold & SoulSilver next month. This even will run from January 13th 2010 to January 27th 2010 making it last only two weeks, sandwiched between the Enigma Crystal event and the repeat of the Mew Event. This course features a variety of rare Pokémon, each Level 5 and knowing moves they wouldn't know. Click the picture to go to the HGSS PokéWalker Area page.
To footnote this update, earlier today Nintendo released a press release with their Quarter 1 2010 releases and that list included HeartGold & SoulSilver and confirmed the March 14th US Release Date we posted about on Saturday.

Two days ago, Amazon.com updated their listings for the games HeartGold & SoulSilver to include a March 14th 2010 date. At that time, this was shrugged off as retaillers often put their own date guesses up. However, last night, and thanks to all who let me know, they updated with the US Boxarts which seemingly validate the date. It is possible that the date will change between now and then and it isn't confirmed. The Box Art however confirms that the PokéWalker peripheral will be included with the games. Movie 13 Details Revealed

With thanks to yaminokame for letting me know, the news of the 13th Movie's title and titular Pokémon has been revealed through a trailer in Japan. The movie is set to be called Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl - Phantom Champion Z (幻影の覇者Z)and features the Johto Legends and Celebi, indicating that Celebi may be the giveaway Pokémon and link in with the special event in HeartGold/SoulSilver. The official site is expected to update with the trailer tomorrow

We have now discovered the means in which you can obtain the Legendary Pokémon. This is done by beating the high scores on each of the attractions they are used in. The passwords are then used at another point to make the Pokémon appear in the Park for you to race or battle. As such, the Password Page has been ammended with these details. Once again, the MSN TV schedule revealed a new dub episode title. This is the episode title for the thirty-first episode of this season and the 604th episode total. This episode features Ash & Co. meet with Looker and discover Team Galactic are plotting something in Mt. Coronet. This episode is to be called Gateway to Ruin and is scheduled to air on the 19th of December. Click the picture for synopsis and episode pictures;

Three Sides to Every Story

A second dub title was also revealed by the MSN TV schedule. This is the episode title for the thirty-secind episode of this season and the 605th episode total. This episode features Piplup fall for another trainer's Marill. However, soon after this, an Elekid arrives to declare its intentions with the Marill, but the three are soon seperated from their trainers. A second dub title was also revealed by the MSN TV schedule. This is the episode title for the thirty-third episode of this season and the 606th episode total. This episode features Ash & Co. arrive in Twinleaf Town for the Twinleaf Festival. While there, they meet up with Dawn's mother. However, soon after that, Dawn and her mother have a Pokémon battle. Once again going into the 4th Generation Competitive Battling strategies, we are covering our one-hundred & fourty-third Pokémon. Today, we are covering a Pokémon introduced within the first generation. This Pokémon is capable of going at speeds up to Mach-2 and is known to quickly swoop along water and catch prey such as Magikarp. So here it is, the one hundred & fourty-third featured Pokémon, Pidgeot.

Well, my copy has arrived so the coverage of this game shall begin. It will be a slow but steady coverage based upon this game, its story, its bosses, its battles and its attractions. First, I will note that we once again have a Forum Discovery Thread where all my discoveries will be quickly posted.
Next, there are 193 usable Pokémon in this game, all registered in a Pokédex numbered P-XXX. The first Pokémon is Chatot
There also appear to be dozens of Pokémon you can use in the attractions, I've begun listing them on the Attractions page.

PokéPark Wii - Pikachu's Great Adenture Passwords

The official site has just revealed that PokéPark Wii, like the previous Wii games, will feature a Password function that allows you access to a variety of new elements. They are activated by the main game menu when you select your Save File. The first password gives you a special Surfboard which allows Pikachu to participate in the Gyarados' Marine Slider attraction. The password is 7887 2252. We'll bring more passwords as they come and our game coverage shall begin within a few days

HeartGold & SoulSilver Details

I have just received some new data on the upcoming HeartGold SoulSilver TCG set. This set is due for release in America on February 10th 2010 and is set to feature the cards of the recently released Japanese sets; HeartGold Collection & SoulSilver Collection. There is said to be over 120 cards within this set and features the same special Pokémon LEGEND cards as the Japanese sets. It is also to be released with three different theme decks named Growth Clash, EmberSpark & Mind Flood based upon Meganium, Typhlosion & Feraligatr respectively. It also confirms that the ultra rare cards replacing Pokémon Lv. X are to be called Pokémon Prime.
