Light Pokémon were introduced in the Neo Destiny set as a counterpart to the Dark Pokémon. The Light Pokémon signify Pokémon that are incorruptable. As such, these Pokémon could not evolve from Dark Pokémon. However, like Dark Pokémon, they evolve from a normal basic Pokémon.
Light Pokémon are veered more towards the helpful and healing strategies and are usually high on HP and low on attack damage. Aesthetically, they are bordered by white borders, in contrast to the dark borders on the Dark Pokémon. Unlike Dark Pokémon, Light Pokémon have not appeared in the TCG since their first appearance.
