Omanyte, The Spiral Pokémon. Thought to be extinct, on rare cases, it has been genetically brought back. It swims cleverly by twisting its 10 tentacles about. It uses the air stored in its shell to rise and sink in water. It swam along the ocean floor eating plankton. If attacked by an Enemy, it withdraws into it's shell.

Strategy Using Omanyte
Omanyte, is very much like Kabuto, but has more strength in special attack. Like Kabuto, it has a 4x weakness to grass types and a 2x weakness to fighting.
It has high defense but low special defense, so attack with special moves is probably your best way to defeat Omanyte.
The Moveset is simple to understand, with Omanyte's swift swim ability, its speed is raised in rain, hence the reason why Rain dance is part of this moveset.
Surf gains a boost from STAB and rain dance, and has high PP and accuracy. Also, Ice beam is there to take care of anything surf won't, like Grass pokemon.
Spikes to provide some extra damage, and since Omanyte can take physical attacks, it could be possible to lay a few round of spikes.
The Salac berry should boost its speed when its HP gets low, and with the addition of Swift swim, rain dance and EV's into speed, it should be quite fast, maybe not the fastest pokemon with swift swim, but still good.
Overall, Omanyte is relatively good, but its evolved form has the better stats and would use this moveset a whole lot better.

Omanyte's Defense is strong but his Special Defense is weak. So attack with Special attacks and Super Effective Attacks such as Grass and it'll be down in no time
