Espeon

Espeon, The Sun Pokémon. It uses it's fine fur to sense air currents and predict it's foe's actions. The tip of it's forked tail quivers when predicting it's opponent's next move. It is extremely loyal to any trainer that it considers to be worthy. It is said that it developed its powers to protect it's trainers

Battle Moveset

A Good Moveset for Espeon would have to be this:

Attacks:

Sunny Day
Hidden Power Fire
Psychic
Morning Sun

Items Attached:

Petaya Berry

Preferred Nature:

Timid

Strategy Using Espeon

Espeon, the pure Psychic pokemon with higher speed, special attack and decent Special defense. However, its movepool is limited and really doesn't learn anything other than HP and Psychic that would be of use, offensive-wise.
This moveset works well with the aforementioned stats and most moves support each other.
Sunny day, is obviously, a very helpful move which will work well along side HP Fire. In turn, HP Fire takes care of any steel types that are used.
Psychic is an obvious choice for a Pokemon like this, which will deal a lot of damage due to its boost in STAB. This is also a reason why HP Fire is useful, Psychic will do little damage to steel types so it comes in handy here too.
Morning sun regains the HP lost from prolonged battles and also benefits from Sunny day. With alright special defense, it should take at least one special hit that isn't super effective against it.
However, Espeon's poor defense leaves it open for Shadow ball's, bug type moves such as Silver wind/Megahorn/Signal beam to defeat it. So watch out for a few of those moves, because Espeon will probably not survive against them.

EV Corner:

Max out the EVs in HP & Speed for Espeon with any remaining in Special Attack

Strategy Against Espeon

Espeon' Defenses are above average but it's Physical is lower so a Physical Volley or a Dark/Bug Volley should work.

Contest Moveset

A good Contest Moveset for Espeon would have to be this for the Smart Contest best with Calm, Gentle, Careful, Sassy Nature:

Attacks:

Calm Mind
Psychic
Body Slam
Shadow Ball

Items Attached:

Green Scarf

Strategy Using Espeon

If you do the attacks in this following order you should have very few problems; 1st - Calm mind, 2nd - Psychic, 3rd - Body slam, 4th - Shadow ball, 5th - Body slam
