Special Moves

 Homing Attack
A move made more famous during the 3D variations of Sonic, his neutral special has Sonic curl into a ball and home into your nearest opponent and hit them causing a decent amount of damage Special Move - Neutral
 Spin Dash
The Spin Dash is a staple of the Sonic series and is utilised well here. Allowing you to briefly charge, you zoom off towards your enemy. If you hit, you jump up and can hit them again. You can also jump while using this making it a deadly attack Special Move - Side
 Spring Jump
The main way of propelling Sonic upwards has made an appearance in this game. A spring will appear under Sonic and shoot him high up into the air. However, if you use it on the ground and the spring stays allowing your opponents to follow you. After you are sent up all the way, you are capable of using your attacks so be prepared for some aerial combat Special Move - Up
 Spin Charge
The Spin Charge is a variation of the Spin Dash, both similar moves, the Spin Dash works in the fact that you can charge it ad nauseum and shoot off with the Speed and thus the damage caused being dependant on the amount of charges. However, you cannot jump through this one and it'll be very hard to recover if you shoot off of the edge while doing it Special Move - Down

Final Smash

 Super Sonic
In previous Sonic games, when you collect 7 Chaos Emeralds, you become Super Sonic. Brawl is no different. As Super Sonic, you can essentially fly through the level, colliding with the other players to do damage and cause decent knockback. You cannot go through platforms so its easy to get stuck if you don't control it right Final Smash
