The Wizards Promotional set was the first bunch of Promotional cards to hit the United States and other territories. These Promotional cards featured cards in the style & mechanics of the cards from the Base Set up to Skyridge and as such, it featured only first and second generation Pokémon in the cards. The cards in this Promotional set were moastly Pokémon cards, several reprints of cards occured. It also featured the first Mew cards. Most of these cards were given out at the Pokémon Leagues, but many came with games, DVDs and with movie tickets.
