The Game Corner, a fixture of the games from the very beginning, makes its return in Ruby and Sapphire. This is the first Game Corner, however, that only offers item prizes - no Pokemon can be obtained from this place. This Game Corner introduces new mechanics to its games, taking fully advantage of the capabilities of the Game Boy Advance

The Basics

As always you will need a Coin Case, which you can trade for Harbour Mail in the house next to the Pokemart. At the main desk in Game Corner (in the top left corner) you can buy 50 coins for 1000P or 500 for 10,000P.

Slots and Games

Ruby and Sapphire have upped the ante on their two games now. The first is the basic slots game from Red and Blue: insert however many coins you want (1, 2 or 3, which add more rows on the slots where you can win prizes) and try and line up the same picture.

Three Red or Three Blue 7's: 300 coins
Three 7's (any mix): 90 coins
Three Azurill: 12 coins
Three Lotad: 6 coins
Three Pikachu: 3 coins plus Pika Power
A cherry: 2 coins

If you manage to charge up your Pika Power, you will enter into "Reel Time" where you have more control over the precision of stopping the slots. Do note this is a difficult feat to accomplish.

Roulette

The second game is a standard Roulette but with Pokemon. One table has you wager one coin, and the other table has you wager three coins. On certain days the latter table offers a six coin wager, multiplying even further how much you can win.
The payouts are as follows based on the spot the ball lands in:

4-×3 wagered
3-×4 wagered
2-×6 wagered
1-×12 wagered
