Marlon is the Gym Leader of Seigaiha City. When not participating in the gyms, he is constantly swimming along the waters of Seigaiha City.

	Wailord Marlon's Wailord was not seen in battle, but was used as a means of transport to take Marlon, Kotetsu and Ash to the Seigaiha City Gym. Obtained Prior to Episode: Seigaiha Gym Battle! Mantine VS Samurott!
	Jellicent Jellicent was the first Pokémon Marlon used against Kotetsu. It used many powerful moves including Shadow Ball until it fell in battle. However, its Cursed Body prevented Ferrothorn from using Thunderbolt again. Obtained Prior to Episode: Seigaiha Gym Battle! Mantine VS Samurott!
	Mantine Mantine was the second Pokémon that Marlon used. However, monopolising on Jellicent's Cursed Body disabling Ferrothorn, it managed to defeat Ferrothorn with a barrage of moves including Bullet Seed and Psybeam. It started to use moves such as Steel Wing against Samurott, but ended up falling in battle. Obtained Prior to Episode: Seigaiha Gym Battle! Mantine VS Samurott!
