Togetic isn't a pokemon that will last long in battle. The stats really only allow for Safeguard to work and that would help other pokemon in the team before it is switched or fainted. Sunny Day and Flamethrower are filler moves but are powerful special attacks that could help other members in the team. There's no real way to make togetic that useful other than to use it in contests.

Strategy Against Togetic

Togetic's stats are very weak so it should be a pushover to beat. Just focus on its weaknesses, Electric, Rock & Ice and you should be fine

Animé Appearences

Togetic has only appeared in one episode of the Animé and no movies or specials. In this episode, Misty was in Hoenn after being tricked there by Team Rocket so they could steal Togepi for a man named Hanzou who wished to take over the Mirage Kingdom. Howver Misty and Togepi stop him and in doing so, Togepi has to evolve into Togetic to protect the other Togepi there. Episode 321: To The Other Side Of The Mirage! Togepi's Paradise!
