Pelipper, The Water Bird Pokémon. It is a flying transporter that carries small Pokémon and eggs inside its massive bill. It builds its nest on steep cliffs facing the sea. It searches for food while in flight by skimming the wave tops. It dips its large bill in the sea to scoop up food, then swallows everything in one big gulp. It bobs on the waves to rest its wings. Battle Moveset A Good Moveset for Pelipper would have to be this: Attacks: Surf Ice Beam Hidden Power [Grass / Electric] Rest / Toxic Items Attached: Leftovers Preferred Nature: Bold Strategy Using Pelipper It's a pretty low tier UU or NU Pokémon, while it's weak points are clear: lack of move pool and a common 4x weakness, it has several good points. It's rather durable defensively and has many resistances. If played defensively it can make a suitable wall for Fighting and Rock attacks. EV Corner:
EVs: 236 HP / 148 Def / 124 SAtk 320 HP and 300 Def means it'll be taking a fair few physical hits, lack of effective self-recovery is the main problem it faces. Other Optional Moves Protect, Agility, Thief, Quick Attack. Protect is the best thing here, it can scout and opponent and stalls a turn for Leftovers recovery. Agility is a good move on a slow Poke but honestly, what's it gonna sweep? Thief is a filler move, steals a Pokémon's Leftovers (hopefully), Quick Attack can kill an End-Revver if you don't have something for that on your team. Strategy Against Pelipper Electric attacks will shoot the bird out of the sky easily. Predicted Rock attacks hurt it severely and lack of self recovery is one of it's major tanking flaws. Provided it doesn't resist a move repeated beat downs can take advantage of that. It can't do much in the way of damage so it can be used to stat-up against. Contest Moveset A good Contest Moveset for Pelipper would have to be this for the Beauty Contest best with Modest, Mild, Rash or Quiet Nature: Attacks:
Rain Dance Items Attached: Blue Scarf Strategy Using Pelipper If you do the attacks in this following order you should have very few problems; 1st - Rain dance, 2nd - Surf/Water Pulse, 3rd - Rain dance, 4th - Surf/Water Pulse, 5th - Hyper beam Locations in Games
