Volbeat, The Firefly Pokémon. It appears as soon as it turns night. It's tail glows and is used for communication by adjusting it's light intensity and flashing it. It's tail glows like a flashlight. With other Voleat it uses it's tail to help draw patterns or pictures in the night sky. It is fully attracted to the Pokémon, Illumise.

Strategy Using Volbeat
Volbeat has one unique move and that is, tail glow, which greatly increases special attack. It also has Signal beam, which isn't a bad bug move and can help out in a pinch. Its defense is rather poor but with its special defense it should take at least one special attack (except if its one of its weaknesses such as fire)
Moonlight to recover any damage Volbeat gains and use Tail glow to increase your special attack, baton pass this onto a special sweeper and sweep away. The Lum berry is there incase of status effects that may hinder the full potential of this moveset.
Not much else can be said about this little bug except that it can be useful if used right.

Max out the EVs in HP for Volbeat with any remaining in Defense & Special Defense
Strategy Against Volbeat
Volbeat has Average Defense and above Average Special Defense so your best bet with this is to pummel it with Super Effective attacks such as fire and Volbeat will be toast
