Strategy Using Flygon

Its unique type makes it invulnerable against electric attacks. Flygon's ability called Levitate makes it impossible for ground type attacks to have any effect. In terms of attack power, Flygon is really strong with Dragon Claw for a dragon attack, Sandstorm to slowly destroy them, Earthquake for raw power and Crunch as a filler move. Flygon is a good substitute for Altaria and Salamence and would be great on an all dragon team. Attach dragon fang for upping dragon abilities

Strategy Against Flygon

Ice type would be your best bet here. Flygon is a Dragon with Ground type plus an emulated Flying type...if you just focus on its weaknesses such as Ice and Dragon you'll be fine. Ice attacks are 4x effective on this poor Dragon so use them

The best Moveset for Flygon would have to be this for the Cool Contest best with Lonely, Adament, Naughty or Brave Nature:

Dragonbreath and Dragon Claw are a good Combo...as is Focus Energy and Brick Break. Should work fine

Flygon has only appeared in one episode of the Animé and one movie. In the episode, it was shadowed out when Ayane, a Legendary Pokémon Co-ordinator remembers battling it with her Skitty.
