Whiscash, The Whiskers Pokémon. It is extremely territorial. Just one of then will claim a large pond as its exclusive territory. If a foe approaches it, it thrashes about and triggers a massive earthquake. If it goes on a wild rampage, it sets off a quake-like tremor with a radius of over three miles. It has the ability to predict real earthquakes. In the daytime, it sleeps in mud at the bottom of a pond. When it awakens, it continually feeds throughout the night. It makes its nest at the bottom of swamps. It will eat anything - if it is alive, Whiscash will eat it. Battle Moveset A Good Moveset for Whiscash would have to be this: Attacks:
Ice Beam Items Attached: Leftovers Preferred Nature: Relaxed Strategy Using Whiscash Whiscash is generally an inferior version of Swampert. It still has the useful typing that limits it's weaknesses to only Grass (although it gives it a huge weakness that can be easily exploited by Hidden Power). Ice Beam and Earthquake are staple moves, covering every Pokémon in the game for normal damage (except for Shedinja). Surf gets STAB and hits Pokémon like Golem a lot stronger than Ice Beam and Earthquake can, Sleep Talk can surprise opponents while Amnesia can help stall against non-Grass typed special sweepers. Spark gives a chance of paralysis and a super effective hit against other water types and Toxic can help stall. Rest is allows Whiscash to recover lost HP. EV Corner:
EVs: 160 HP / 78 Atk / 184 Def / 88 SAtk If you choose to use Amnesia you can neglect Special Defence in favour of Physical Defence. Without Amnesia you'll have some problems against bulky special attackers regardless of defences and Whiscash's offence is better suited against physical sweepers. Strategy Against Whiscash Pelipper, Gyarados and Mantine easily counter Whiscash's offence when it doesn't have Spark. Slowbro and Slowking can set up Calm Minds or Curses against Whiscash. Grass types with decent enough special defence to absorb Ice Beam can make it run. Generally anything that isn't weak to Water, Ice or Ground typed attacks will do fine against it. Contest Moveset A good Contest Moveset for Whiscash would have to be this for the Beauty Contest best with Modest, Mild, Rash or Quiet Nature: Attacks:
Fissure Items Attached: Blue Scarf Strategy Using Whiscash If you do the attacks in this following order you should have very few problems; 1st - Fissure, 2nd - Rain dance, 3rd - Surf, 4th - Fissure, 5th - Hyper beam Locations in Games
