Gorebyss, The South Sea Pokémon. Its swimming form is exquisitely elegant. With its thin mouth, it feeds on seaweed that grows between rocks.It lives in the southern seas at extreme depths. Its body is built to withstand the enormous pressure of water at incredible depths. Because of this, it's body is unharmed by ordinary attacks. Although it is the very picture of elegance and beauty while swimming, it is also cruel. When it spots prey, it inserts its thin mouth into the prey's body and drains the prey of its body fluids.

Strategy Using Gorebyss
After many attempts at writing this strategy for Gorebyss, I figured you should know all about Gorebyss. So good luck!
Seriously though, you should be ashamed if you do not know just how much Gorebyss is better than you. Of course it can be used as a baton passer, it can also be used as a special sweeper (Rain dance, Surf, Ice beam, HP Electric/Psychic. This set works well with Swift swim and Rain dance boosts Surf along with the boost from STAB)
It can learn Amnesia, Iron defense (learnt from its time as a clamperl), has good defense, learns Baton pass. Use whatever intelligence (high hopes!) you may possess to figure out what you're supposed to do with this.
Gorebyss should begin its stat boosting against a physical attacker, due to its defense being the highest out of both defensive stats. Even after one Amnesia, grass and electric attacks shouldn't pose much of a threat. If you want, you can replace Leftovers with a pinch berry such as Petaya.
Surf takes advantage of the very high special attack stat (which is the second highest special attack stat for a non-legendary water pokemon). Thanks to Onimusha for his help and contribution to this POTW.
