Electrode

Electrode, The Ball Pokémon. It stores electrical energy under high pressure. It often explodes with no provacation. Even the slightest shock could cause an explosion. It is dangerous since if it's bored, it amuses itself by exploding. The more energy it has stored, the faster it becomes. But it is also more likely to explode. It eats electricity in the atmosphere. On days when Lightning strikes, you will see Electrodes exploding around it due to eating too much electricity. They have been known to congregate at Power Plants to eat the electricity generated.

Battle Moveset

A Good Moveset for Electrode would have to be this:

Attacks:

Rain Dance
Thunder
Thunder Wave
Hidden Power Water OR Light Screen

Items Attached:

Petaya Berry

Preferred Nature:

Modest

Strategy Using Electrode

Electrode has one of the highest speeds in the game, it really doesn't need a boost in that from things like EV's or nature.
However, since almost, if not all Electric Pokemon can do this moveset, its predictable and don't be surprised if people have ways to counter it.
Since it doesn't need EV's in speed, may aswell split them between its defenses just so those below average stats get a boost.
Simple isn't it? Set up Rain dance, use thunder or HP water, depending on what opponent you're facing. Use Thunderwave if you are up against a troublesome opponent.
With the added effect of boosting water type moves, HP water should get the 50% boost, making it pretty useful. If you can't be bothered to catch/breed numerous Voltorb's, then go with Light screen, or other moves if you have different opinions, such as Taunt if you don't want your opponent powering up to sweep your team.
Even though its special attack is still below average, the boost from Petaya berry, EV's and the Special attack benefitting nature should make it somewhat decent.
Its defense is its weakest, so attack with Ground type moves if you want to beat this Pokemon easily.
Overall, this Pokemon isn't too bad, maybe choose a different variety of moves like: thunderbolt, along side moves like: Toxic/Light screen/Protect/Taunt.

EV Corner:

Max out the EVs in Special Attack for Electrode with any remaining in Defense & Special Defense

Strategy Against Electrode

Electrode's Defenses are both about average, it's Physical is lower so attack with Physical Attacks or Ground Type to topple it.
