Hoothoot

Hoothoot, The Owl Pokémon. It always stands on one foot. It changes feet so fast that the movement can rarely be seen. It has a perfect sense of time. Whatever happens, it twists its head to keep its rhythm. It hoots at the same time each day. Some trainers use them as an alternative to clocks. It has an internal organ that tracks and senses the Planet's Rotation.

Battle Moveset

A Good Moveset for Hoothoot would have to be this:

Attacks:

Toxic
Reflect
Attract
Whirlwind

Items Attached:

LeftOvers

Preferred Nature:

Bold

Strategy Using Hoothoot

What can be said about Hoot-hoot, well, nothing much actually. Its stats are all way below average and its movepool is extremely small.
Hoot-hoot cannot attack, but if you insist on putting an attacking move, well, pick one of the few good moves it learns.
Well, this is a toxishuffler/partial annoyer, not like it can do anything else. Set up a Toxic, use whirlwind to force a switch and toxic again, simple.
Use Attract to increase your chances of gaining an extra turn for Toxic to do more damage. Maybe you could add Featherdance instead of whirlwind, which is a move which greatly lowers your opponent's attack.
Reflect is because it can't learn any other move that would be suitable for an annoyer set. Overall, Hoot-hoot isn't that great, its not going to last a majority of battles.

EV Corner:

Max out the EVs in Defense & Special Defense for Hoothoot with any remaining in HP

Strategy Against Hoothoot

Hoothoot's Defense is lower than it's Special Defense so if you attack with a volley of Physical Attacks it should be down in no time

Hoothoot has had a few Anime Appearences although many were Cameos. First, it was in a forest with multiple ghosts causing havoc where Agatha and Hagatha were renting out Hoothoots to help trainers go through. After that, Falkner the Violet Gym Leader had one and used it in a battle against Ash's Chikorita. After that, a Blimp Pilot used to have one and used it alot in battles
