After the slip up earlier this week on the official site revealing the April 22nd release date, Nintendo released a Press Release confirming the aforementioned date and also gave a new game detail. The Evil Team in the game is no longer known as Team Galaxy, but Team Galactic. Nintendo also stated that a pre-order bonus is going to be in effect, offering the consumers who pre-order it some specialised DS Stylus' that feature many of the New Pok�mon.

Well, earlier this afternoon, Nintendo revealed the release date for Pok�mon Diamond & Pearl in the US. It is coming out on April 22nd 2007. A nice healthy Spring Release so be prepared. For our in depth information that we gained during the Japanese Release, click below:

Perap's English Name...Revealed?

I am happy to exclusively announce the US name for Perap, the Parrot Pok�mon first revealed earlier this year with the 9th Movie. However, this is not officially revealed yet and was heard through the grapevine, but I am confident. Perap's US name, is Chatot. Pronounced Chat-ott, it is derived from Chat, which Parrots do after training and how Chatot is portrayed in the movie, anime & game (through the attack Blabber) and Parrot, the animal that Chatot is based on. 10th Movie Revealed

Today in Japan, the first details about the 10th Movie were revealed. Featuring the main Pok�mon of Diamond & Pearl, it appears to be a film in which they clash. Called Pok�mon - Diamond & Pearl: Diaruga VS Parukia!, it will be released on the 14th July 2007. Below is the poster, hopefully there will be more information revealed soon

Probably old news, but worthwhile posting. Nintendo recently added a few restrictions into the Global Trading Center and general online battling after a wave of cheaters has come through. Below are the new rules:

Only Pok�mon with the following attack criterea are accepted:

Moves learned by Level Up
Moves learned by TM/HM
Moves learned by Breeding
Moves learned by Move Tutor
Moves learned by 3rd Generation Means
Moves learned by Purifying
Moves learned through being an Official Event Pok�mon

No Legendaries at a level below the level that they are legitimately captured at; Both Distributing and Requesting
No Use of Devices that change the games code
