Pokémon Platinum US Names & Details
Nintendo today opened the official site for Platinum. This site reveals a lot of the stuff we knew about Platinum, hinting at the new Rotom forms, confirming that we will get the Secret Key outside of Japan, and the Frontier Brains and giving some basic general details. However, with that, we get the names of the three mini-games you can play over Wi-Fi. These are playable in both the Wi-Fi Plaza with random people, and in the Wi-Fi Square with your friends. These mini-games are called; Swalot Plop, Mime Jr. Top & Wobbuffet Pop. Click the picture to go to our page detailling all the WiFi aspects of the game.

DSi US Release
Although this is not Pokémon news, it would be worth noting as its a console Pokémon can be played upon. Today, Nintendo issued a press release detailling the release details for the third model of the Nintendo DS; The Nintendo DSi. The DSi is an upgrade of the DS and features a variety of new features including two camera, music playback, bigger screens and WPA support as well as an online shop that allows for downloadable games. The DSi is due out in America on April 5th 2009 for the price of $169.99. The one problem is that the DSi lacks a GameBoy Advance slot meaning the Pal Park features on Diamond, Pearl & Platinum will not work in this console.
