Unlike the previous Dungeon games, the Pokémon you select to play as in this game is not based upon a personality quiz. Instead, you get given a choice of the Pokémon dependant upon the version you have downloaded. From here, you select your first Pokémon and your partner Pokémon. However, after that, you will get all the other Pokémon you had to choose from
