Tools
Tools were introduced within the Sinnoh Underground and act similar to the Mats in which, if a player steps on one, a special effect will happen. These effects vary and work similar to the traps you'll find in the Underground.

| Bubble Tool | A Tool that releases a mass of bubbles. Pop them to get free. |
| Fire Tool | This Tool releases billowing flames. Blow the flames away to get free. |
| Flower Tool | This Tool releases many flowers. Blow the flowers away to get free. |
| Foam Tool | A Tool that releases bubbles. Pop the bubbles to get free. |
| Hole Tool | A Tool that makes a big pitfall to immobilize the victim. |
| Leaf Tool | This Tool releases immobilizing leaves. Blow the leaves away to get free. |
| Pit Tool | A Tool that makes a huge pitfall to immobilize the victim. |
| Rock Tool | A Tool that makes blocking boulders. Break the boulders to get free. |
| Rockfall Tool | A Tool that makes Big Boulders. Break the boulders to get free. |
