The Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto event has been officially revealed. This event will run from 9am to 9pm local time on February 20th 2021. Tickets are available now for Ł10.99/$11.99
This event provides Special Research that, when completed, gives you a second Special Research that results in obtaining Shiny Mew and has all Kanto Pokémon appearing in the wild/raids. All will be available as Shiny
Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Mewtwo will be in Legendary raids knowing Hurricane, Thunder Shock, Sky Attack, Psystrike respectively
Trade distance will be 40km during the event
All players get Timed Research
You'll get increased candy for catching Kanto Pokémon
Players choose between Red Version and GreenVersion which gives exclusive spawns:
Red Version
Exclusive Pokémon: Ekans, Oddish, Mankey, Growlithe, Scyther, and Electabuzz will be attracted to Incense.
Higher Shiny Chances: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pidgey, Ekans, Pikachu, Nidoran F, Oddish, Diglett, Mankey, Growlithe, Ponyta, Shellder, Drowzee, Krabby, Hitmonlee, Lickitung, Scyther, Electabuzz, Eevee, Kabuto, and Dratini.
Green Version
Exclusive Pokémon: Sandshrew, Vulpix, Meowth, Bellsprout, Magmar, and Pinsir will be attracted to Incense.
Higher Shiny Chances: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pidgey, Pikachu, Sandshrew, Nidoran ?, Vulpix, Meowth, Psyduck, Bellsprout, Geodude, Exeggcute, Hitmonchan, Koffing, Tangela, Horsea, Magmar, Pinsir, Eevee, Omanyte, and Dratini..
You'll earn rewards if you collect the first 150 Pokémon from Kanto in challenges. If you don't get them in the day, you have until February 28th at 07:59 UTC to do this.
Finally, if you purchase a ticket early, you'll get the tickets for the Community Day Special Research for January and February's Community Day Research completely for free

The next event has been announced. This event is the Deck the Halls event and is focused around the Holidays. It adds the special exclusive Sync Pairs of Erika (Holidays) & Comfey and Skyla (Holidays) & Togekiss. It runs from Thursday December 10th
