Pokémon Championship Series
The current Pokémon Championship Series has been cancelled meaning all Regionals, Pre Releases and more are cancelled including the North American International Championships and the 2020 Pokémon World Championships in London. However, all points earned will roll over to the 2021 Series and it has been announced that the Pokémon World Championships in 2021 will be expanded and also be held in London as it was planned for this year

There are multiple reports from New Zealand of an April Fool's Day event running. From 08:00 local time, various Pokémon who masquerade as things such as Voltorb, Foongus and Ditto will have increased spawns and Stunfisk is available. Alongside this, Aipom and Croagunk will appear in GO Snapshot as a photobomb. We have compiled our usual event section for this event

The Raid Battles have started to shift in Pokémon GO. From now until April 21st, Landorus is now available as a Level 5 Raid Boss. As such, Raid Bosses will have changed in conjunction with it

Niantic have doubled the radius to interact with Gyms allowing for players to battle with and do raids when further away. This is a stop-gap as they develop ways to Raid with other players from home

The Battle Villa has had a new reset. With this reset, the stages have shifted around to provide a different experience from before. This will run until April 15th 2020 where it will reset again

In what may seemingly be an April Fool's joke, until 03:59 UTC on April 2nd 2020, the Pokémon Center music from Pokémon Red and Blue will be playing in the main hub in Pokémon Masters. In addition to that, the Explore menu has got the Pokémon Gym theme and the Team option has the Professor Oak's Lab theme
