Feraligatr, The Big Jaw Pokémon. It intimidates its foes by opening its huge mouth. In battle, it will kick the ground hard with its thick and powerful hind legs to charge at the foe at an incredible speed. It is hard for it to support its own weight out of water, so it gets down on all fours. But it moves fast. When it bites with its massive and powerful jaws, it shakes its head and savagely tears up its victim.

Leftovers OR Preferred Nature: Naughty OR Naďve OR Jolly Strategy Using Feraligatr Generally the standard Feraligatr set up. It's able to deal out solid damage special based damage with STAB boosted Hydro Pump or Surf against the more common UU physical walls and with the aid of Sword Dance can sweep effectively. Substituting down to a Salac Boost is also a viable option. EV Corner: For sets that don't rely on a Salac boost:
EVs: 252 Atk / 192 Spd / 66 SAtk
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 SAtk For sets that rely on a Salac boost:
EVs: 252 Atk / 192 Spd / 66 SAtk Other Optional Sets:
Feraligatr @ Leftovers Sub-Punch set up. Does decent damage on both ends of the spectrum. Lack of 101 Subs hurt this set somewhat. 20 Speed gives it enough to outrun Skarmory, Metagross [and other Base Speed 70 Pokémon] at their base, a minimal investment for something that may potentially save you. Ice beam if you're concerned about Salamences or HP Bug for Celebis.
Feraligatr @ Leftovers Because surprise special sweepers are cool! Decent special attack and element of surprise combined with a passable special move pool make this set workable. Other Optional Moves Counter, Scary Face, Roar, Screech and Toxic have some potential on Feraligatr but are hard to find a single set to mix it with. Good HP and good Defence could allow for a huge chunk of HP to be taken with Counter. Scary Face, Roar and Screech could be used alongside triple layers of Spikes for switching damage, Screech especially could also be used in conjuncture with Focus Punch, same could be said for Scary Face but to a lesser extent, since the loss of Speed isn't always as threatening as opposed to the loss of defence. Toxic can be used to shift some of the bulkier water types. Strategy Against Feraligatr As with most physically based water types sweepers, they can deal solid damage to both physical and special walls. Bulky grass-types (such as Meganium and Celebi) can do a passable job of walling it and have the offence to scare it off. Breloom resists every move on the standard set but doesn't truly have the defences to handle repeated abuse. The likes of Venusaur and Cradily can fall under the category of bulky but their lack of EQ resistance hurts. Without Hydro Pump (or Ice beam), Flygon and Claydol can freely wall it's Earthquakes and Rock Slides. Faster electric types can force a switch if they are placed in smartly (on a Sword Dance usually), main examples of such Pokémon being Zapdos, Jolteon and Manectric. Contest Moveset A good Contest Moveset for Feraligatr would have to be this for the Beauty Contest best with Modest, Mild, Rash or Quiet Nature: Attacks:
