Flaaffy, The Wool Pokémon. Its fleece quality changes to generate strong static electricity with a small amount of wool. The bare, slick parts of its hide are shielded against electricity. Its fluffy fleece easily stores electricity. Its rubbery hide keeps it from being electrocuted. As a result of storing too much electricity, it developed patches where even downy wool won't grow. Battle Moveset A Good Moveset for Flaaffy would have to be this: Attacks:
Thunderbolt Items Attached: Leftovers Preferred Nature: Modest Strategy Using Flaaffy Special sweeper of sorts. It's Special attack is surprisingly good and if it can catch something with Thunder Wave it'll have decent enough speed to land moves. With STAB Thunderbolt, Fire Punch for Grass types and Ice for Dragons and Grounds you've got a lot of coverage that can be used effectively with appropriate prediction. EV Corner:
EVs: 156 HP / 252 SAtk / 102 SDef It's HP and Special Defense is passable for an un-evolved Pokémon so focus on that and Special Attack. Other Optional Moves Reflect, Light Screen, Substitute, Thunder, Safeguard, Focus Punch. Reflect and Light Screen provide some pseudo-passing fun for 5 turns. Sub can work with Thunder Wave when stalling for para-hax, Thunder can work with Rain Dance and could be used to replace both Thunder Wave and Thunderbolt as a paralysis and STAB move. Safeguard blocks statuses but is hard to use as a surprise attack due to Flaafy's slow speed, not allowing it to block an attack prior to it happening, and even then Sub would probably be more beneficial. Focus Punch always has been and always be a good move for smashing apart normal-typed special walls but need some attack investment. Strategy Against Flaaffy Ground types, Volt-Absorb (especially on Chinchou), special walls, Substitutes prior to Thunder Wave. Contest Moveset A good Contest Moveset for Flaaffy would have to be this for the Cool Contest best with Lonely, Adament, Naughty or Brave Nature: Attacks:
Rain dance Items Attached: Red Scarf Strategy Using Flaaffy If you do the attacks in this following order you should have very few problems; 1st - Rain dance, 2nd - Thunderbolt, 3rd - Rain dance/Thunderwave, 4th - Thunderbolt/Brick break, 5th - Thunderbolt Locations in Games
