Wurmple, The Worm Pokémon. The spikes on it's rear help Wurmple to peel bark off trees to let him feed off the tree sap. It's feet are tipped with suction pads that allow it to cling to glass without slipping. It is targeted by Swellow as prey. This Pokémon will try to resist by pointing its spikes towards it's attacker. It will weaken the foe by leaking poison from the spikes. What can be said about Wurmple, well, not much. Its stats are low and it doesn't learn any other moves apart from tackle, string shot and Poison sting. EV Corner: Max out the EVs in Attack & Speed for Wurmple with any remaining in Defense Strategy Against Wurmple Wurmple's Defenses are both really bad, any powerful attack should take it down Contest Moveset A good Contest Moveset for Wurmple would have to be this for the Tough Contest best with Impish, Lax, Relaxed or Bold Nature: Attacks:
