Pokémon TCG Online
Following its release on the Canadian iTunes on Friday, it has been confirmed that the Pokémon TCG Online app will be available on the USA iTunes store from tomorrow. This game allows for you to play the TCG online with other people using cards obtained by purchasing booster packs and theme decks in real life, as well as having a single player component. The iPad version of this game is set to be identical to the PC version and will be available to download for free. It requires an iPad running iOS 7.0 or better in order to run and needs 504MB of space. Launch Europe has yet to be announced, but keep checking back.

Today marks the fourty-eighth entry into the Generation VI competitive field with a Kanto Pokémon. When expelling a blast of superhot fire, the red flame at the tip of its tail burns more intensely. Its wings can carry this Pokémon close to an altitude of 4,600 feet. It blows out fire at very high temperatures. If it becomes furious, the flame at the tip of its tail flares up in a light blue shade. It is said that Charizard's fire burns hotter if it has experienced harsh battles. So here it is, the fourty-eighth entry, Charizard.

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
A special livestream for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire has been announced. This livestream is an Autumn Special and runs on October 2nd from 18:00 JST to 01:00 JST, which means it begins at 10am in the UK, 5am on the East Coast of USA and 2am on the West Coast. It will feature gameplay of the original games by Kosuke from App Bank, as well as brand new information on the new versions. In addition to that, Pokémon Get☆TV is promising the latest information on Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire in their episode on October 5th including important information on Rayquaza. We'll bring more on these as and when they happen

For those of you in Australia, the details of the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire demo have been released. This demo is to be distributed by Nintendo sending out codes to select Club Nintendo members on October 15th. Following that, it'll be available at certain retailers from November 3rd. The next Battle Competition has been announced. This battle competition is the Halloween Party and runs internationally. This tournament is a Single Battle competition that requires you to use Ghost-type Pokémon in the National Pokédex, excluding Rotom and Giratina. However, you also are required to use a Super Size Gourgeist. You cannot use transferred Pokémon. Registration runs from October 16th until October 23rd while the competition runs from October 24th until October 26th 2014. All participants will receive 5 Rare Candies as a present

The next Battle Competition has been announced. This battle competition is the Hoenn Pokémon NicoNico Match and is just for Japan. This tournament is a Double Battle competition that requires you to use Pokémon that are numbered in the National Pokédex between 252 and 384, but only allowing one of the following: Kyogre, Groudon or Rayquaza. Pokémon are lowered to Level 25 for the duration. Registration runs from October 2nd until October 10th while the competition runs from October 10th until October 14th 2014. All participants will receive the 2525 PokéMiles as a present

Battling for the latest Battle Competition has begun. This battle competition is the Fairy Face-off and runs globally. This Battle Competition requires you to use only Fairy-typed Pokémon. It is a Single Battle Competition using the Kalos Pokédex and lowers your Pokémon to Level 50. You cannot use Pokémon that have been transferred from previous games. The competition runs until September 28th 2014. All participants will receive 1000 PokéMiles as a present

At the Pokémon World Championships, a demo of an iPad version of the hit PC simulator, Pokémon Trading Card Game Online, was shown. It has been announced that, following the postponement earlier this year after a ferry crashed off the coast of South Korea, the episode featuring Skrelp and Dragalge is set to air in Japan on November 20th 2014. Band of Thieves & 1000 Pokémon
For those of you with Japanese Nintendo 3DS consoles, the download exclusive free title, Band of Thieves & 1000 Pokémon, is to be removed from the Nintendo 3DS eShop on Tuesday next week. This game has been available since June 5th 2014 and was to run in conjunction with the movie, which ends its run in most theatres at the same time, on Tuesday September 30th, as was announced when the game was announced. While the game will no longer be available for public download, you will still be able to download it off the eShop if previously downloaded and can still be played for as long as you have your Nintendo 3DS. Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
For those of you in Europe, some new hardware bundles have been announced. This bundle is for a special Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre themed Nintendo 2DSs. These consoles are transparent red and blue, to match the Ruby & Sapphire theme of the games.. The consoles will be available on their own in Europe on November 7th without the Pokémon name, or bundled with the games on November 28th.
Edit @ 09:10: They have also revealed details on the demo in Europe, coming in various areas on October 15th. The Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version will be available in the UK from GAME, Amazon, Smyth Toys Superstores, ShopTo and the Nintendo UK Official Store from the 15th October until launch. The codes will then also be made available through a number of other partners including Wikia, Bin Weevils and Nintendo Life until mid-November. Amazon, Smyths Toys, ShopTo and Nintendo UK Official Store will be sending these codes out to fans via their internal databases. GAME Stores will distribute their codes Nationwide via Nintendo Zone.

Pokémon TCG - ORAS Sets
It has been confirmed by various Japanese suppliers that a new Pokémon TCG set has been announced. This set, the fifth in the XY series, is split in two and called Gaia Volcano & Tidal Storm. They are due for release in Japan on December 13th. This set will focus upon Primal Groudon & Primal Kyogre and features over 70 cards in each set.

Pokémon Bank - Celebi Reminder
When it was first released at the start of this year, Pokémon Bank came with a special gift for everyone who opened up their Pokémon Bank, either in the trial or afterwards. This give was a special Level 10 Celebi with the special move, Hold Back. This Celebi is only to be distributed for 10 more days, with the event ending on September 30th. From that point on, you'll be unable to receive it, so be sure to get it while you can.

Pokémon Art Academy - Version 1.1 Patch Live
For those of you who have purchased Pokémon Art Academy, the first patch, V 1.1, is now live on the eShop. This patch fixes an issue that caused the coloured outline pen to not properly save as coloured when the image is saved to Miiverse or on the SD card. This patch is required to go online and comes in at 19 blocks. This patch is currently available in the European & Japan region. You can scan the QR code below with your 3DS to access the eShop page for the patch.

A new event has been announced for Japan. This event utilises the Pokémon Tretta Arcade machines from October 15th. This Rotom comes at Level 10 in a Cherish Ball, with the moves Shock Wave, Astonish, Trick & Thunder Wave. To get this Rotom, you need to take your Nintendo 3DS with X & Y, Pokémon Battle Trozei or Band of Thieves & 1000 Pokémon, with you and have it on standby while you play the Pokémon Tretta arcade game. Doing this will have the 3DS communicate with the machine and charge up a special meter. Once the meter is filled, it will begin transmitting the Rotom for your Pokémon X & Y game, to be obtained with Mystery Gift - Local. It is expected to run for the duration of the third set. The Event Database has been updated with details of this event.

Following on from its launch yesterday in Japan, I have spent the day updating the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS section, with high priority to the PokéBall section which now should contain most, if not all of the Pokémon that come from PokéBalls, as well as which ball they come from, and whether they need unlocking. More updates will be coming over the next week so keep checking back.

Pokémon Art Academy - Mega Gengar Template Distribution
For those of you with Pokémon Art Academy in Europe, the latest template download has begun. This template is for the ghost Pokémon, Mega Gengar, and is the available right now, though the end date is currently not known. This template is accessed in the Free Paint mode of the game.

Pokémon Anime - Mega Evolution Act 2 Details
The first details and poster have come in for the upcoming special, The Strongest Mega Evolution ~Act 2~. This special, due to air on November 6th in Japan, features Alain & Mairin as they go to Hoenn and meet up with the Hoenn Champion, Steven Stone, and encounter various Mega Evolutions. Alain is set to battle Steven with his Mega Charizard X vs Steven's Mega Metagross, but during the battle, a mysterious man appears. There's a dormant monolith in Hoenn where all the pieces are in place to reveal the secrets of Mega Evolution. Rayquaza is also said to make an appearance.

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - Global Link Details
Following yesterdays official reveal of the various bits of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire information, a new clear image has come out that showcases the various features of the Pokémon Global Link in the new games. The aesthetics of the Global Link remain the same, but there are new features including the ability to upload photos you take during Pokémon Contest, and the game keeping track of the popular places to build Super Secret Bases. It also shows that Rating Battle Season 7 will begin and be compatible simultaneously with both X & Y and Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. This also gives a hint of an upcoming Battle Competition called the Trainer Pokémon Battle, though this could just be for the sake of the image. The Global Link also confirms that there will be several days of downtime ahead of the release of Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. We'll bring more as it comes

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - Trailer & English Details
The Pokémon Company has uploaded a new trailer which showcases all of the new information and Mega Evolutions from the past week.
Primal Kyogre's ability is Primordial Sea and it blocks Fire-type moves and changing the weather. Its move is Origin Pulse. Primal Groudon's ability is Desolate Land and it blocks Water-type moves and changing the weather. It's move is Precipice Blades. Both moves can hit multiple opponents. The new weathers are permanent but fade when the Pokémon is switched out
The demo version has also been confirmed the west

Pokémon Art Academy - Mega Gengar Template Distribution
For those of you with Pokémon Art Academy in Japan, the latest template download has begun. This template is for the ghost Pokémon, Mega Gengar, and is the available from tomorrow, September 13th until October 14th. This template is accessed in the Free Paint mode of the game. In addition to that, a new Japanese contest has been announced requiring you to draw Ghost-type Pokémon, with the best art being put on the official site.

Battling for the latest Battle Competition has begun. This battle competition is the Diamond Storm and runs just for Japan. This Battle Competition requires you to use the Pokémon, Diancie, obtained from the movie, Diancie & The Cocoon of Destruction. It is a Single Battle Competition using the Kalos Pokédex and lowers your Pokémon to Level 50. You cannot use Pokémon that have been transferred from previous games. The competition runs until September 14th 2014. All participants will receive 1000 PokéMiles as a present

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is available for the Nintendo 3DS and so, over the coming few days, I will be fully compiling the site's section about this game. I have already begun by separating out characters and creating in-depth pages for them. This has begun with Pikachu, Greninja, Lucario & Charizard. Keep checking the section for more updates

A new promotion has been announced for Europe. If you register a Nintendo 3DS and a copy of Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS, Pokémon Omega Ruby or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire onto the European Club Nintendo site from today (for the 3DS) or game launch for each game until January 12th, then you will be given a choice of receiving a free download code for several titles including Pokémon Art Academy as well as various other Nintendo games.

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire- CoroCoro Reveals
The first images for this month have started to appear. In this image, from the magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday, it confirms that, in next month's issue of CoroCoro, due out on October 15th, a special serial code will be given. This Serial Code offers you a trial version of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire which appears to have you pick between Grovyle, Combusken & Marshtomp and ends with the obtaining of a Mega Evolution. We'll bring more on this as it comes

Edit @ 09:46: Primal Kyogre has a new ability called Sea of Beginnings and Primal Groudon has a new ability called Land of Endings. They activate what is called Strong Rain and Strong Sunlight respectively. It is not known how different this is to normal. Primal Groudon's new move is called Cliff's Blade

Following yesterdays US reveal, it has been announced that two distribution events are coming to the UK this October in GAME stores. From October 15th to November 5th, you'll be able to obtain a Serial Code to receive a special Shiny Gengar at GAME Stores. This Gengar comes holding the Gengarite and matches the event being held in Japan later this month, and is to tie in with the upcoming TCG set, Phantom Forces.
Next, from November 6th to November 28th, you'll be able to get a Serial Code to receive the Mythical Pokémon, Diancie. As known, this Diancie can only be obtained through this event and, when traded to Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, gives you the Diancite item to Mega Evolve it into Mega Diancie

It has been announced that two distribution events are coming to the US this October in Gamestop stores. From October 13th to October 26th, you'll be able to obtain a Serial Code to receive a special Shiny Gengar at Gamestop Stores. This Gengar comes holding the Gengarite and matches the event being held in Japan later this month, and is to tie in with the upcoming TCG set, Phantom Forces.

During todays episode of Pokémon Get☆TV, some new Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire footage was shown. In this footage, it showcased Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, and revealed that the moves we've seen them use in previous images are new moves rather than reanimated moves. These moves have not currently been named, but as soon as we get this information, it'll be posted.

Pokémon X & Y - PokéBall Vivillon Distribution
For those of you in Europe & Australia, the special PokéBall Pattern Vivillon, currently being distributed to Pokémon X & Y titles is to end at the end of Monday September 8th. This event matches the one that was at Gamescom earlier this month, and the one distributed in North America to tie in with the opening of the online Pokémon Center and provides a Level 12 PokéBall Pattern Vivillon, which cannot be obtained normally during gameplay, over the Nintendo Network.

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - Pre-order Bonus for Japan
A new trailer has come out for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire has been revealed and showcases various aspects of the game including diving and more. There also appeared to be a feature where you can see parts of a Pokémon in the wild, such as Pikachu's tail, and approach it to appear in battle In addition to this, it features details on the Japanese pre-order details. Pre-orders in Japan open on September 20th and all who pre-order will receive special figures of Primal Groudon & Primal Kyogre, different to the ones Europe is receiving. If you pre-order a special double pack of the games (comes with both games and both figures) for 9,142¥, you will also receive 100 Potions through 2 Serial Codes, one for each game. If you download the digital version of the game between November 21st 2014 and November 30th 2014, you will receive 12 Quick Balls. We also got dating for the shiny Beldum event. It will run from November 21st 2014 until January 14th 2015
Edit @ 05:06: It is also confirmed, through images of the Download Card, that Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire will require approximately 1.8GB in order to download to your Nintendo 3DS. This is a further 100MB more than Pokémon X & Y

Last week, a special Shiny Mega Gengar event was announced for Japan. This event gives you a Level 25 Gengar with the Gengarite item and the special move Sludge Wave. On announcement, there were no details about what stores will hold the event across Japan, but today the stores were announced. The stores are: Apita/Paigo, Ion, Ion SuperCenters, Ito-Yokado, Edion, Joshin, Toys 'R' Us, Bic Group Stores, Yamada Denki Group stores, Yodobashi Camera and the Pokémon Centers across Japan. This event is to run from September 13th 2014 to October 14th 2014

Pokkén Tournament
In the latest issue of Famitsu, translated by Siliconera, an interview was held with the developers of the upcoming Arcade game, Pokkén Tournament. Not much new was given, but it stated that Mega Evolution will have a major factor in it, following the small cameo of Mega Lucario in the trailer released last week. It was also confirmed that the game is "approximately 30%" complete with the first demo run expected next year. Tsunekazu Ishihara, head of The Pokémon Company, also stated that he wishes for Pokkén Tournament to have a place at the Pokémon World Championships each year alongside the main series Pokémon games and the TCG. Pokémon X & Y - Holo Caster
As has been common over the past few months, the Holo Caster feature in Pokémon X & Y has been updated with various bits of news. This time, several Japanese messages have been added, including one regarding the recent events and Global Link events. In addition to that, both the European and American ones have also been updated with various messages. As such, I have updated our Holo Caster page with details and screenshots of these.
