Pokémon: Detective Pikachu - Box Office Report
After the opening weekend of Detective Pikachu globally, Box office Estimates and reports are starting to come in, courtesy of Box Office Mojo. The estimations show that Detective Pikachu has hit $58 million in the box office in the United States, making it the highest opening weekend for a video game live action adaptation, though it came just short of the estimated $63 million of Avengers Endgame this weekend. In addition to this, box office revenue internationally is coming in with an estimated $112 million taken including Japanese takings, though many countries have yet to be reported.
