The Wild Area Event has now shifted in Pokémon Sword & Shield. With this, Mewtwo and the Kanto Starters has left the boosted raids while Kingler, Grimmsnarl, Orbeetle, Hatterene and Toxtricity remain, returning the event spawns to how they were before the Pokémon Day event. The Raid Battles have started to shift in Pokémon GO. From now, Thundurus is now available as a Level 5 Raid Boss. As such, Raid Bosses will have changed in conjunction with it.

Niantic have detailed the upcoming March events for Japan, Korea and Italy as they currently have restrictions due to the public health concerns
March Community Day is postponed.
Spotlight Hour, Raid Hour and Raid Weekends will not run.
From March 3th through March 19th, Incense will last twice as long and have increased Pokémon spawns. Incense will also have a price reduction to 50%
GO Battle League will require no distance walked and no Poké Coins to play and Rare Candy will be more common. Pokémon like Scraggy and even Legendary Pokémon will appear as rewards
Darkrai will be in a GO Battle League Reward from March 6th 08:00 local to March 9th 22:00 local time including Shiny Darkrai
Giratina will be in a GO Battle League Reward from March 13th 08:00 local to March 16th 22:00 local time including Shiny Giratina
In other times, Thundurus will also be available in GO Battle League

Some changes have gone live with Shadow Pokémon in Pokémon GO. First, Shadow Pokémon have got an Attack Boost known as Shadow Bonus of 20% on each of their Attacks. However, in conjunction with this, they also have a 17% reduction in defenses so receive more damage
In addition to that, the Stardust and Candy required to Power Up Shadow Pokémon has been reduced from 3 times the standard amount to only 20% and the third move cost has also been reduced
