Niantic have announced a Limited Research Day in Pokémon GO. This day is Snubbull Day and will run on Saturday May 9th 2020 from 8am local time to 10pm local time. During this, there will be 50 Timed Research tasks to complete that will appear in the Today's View section of the game, without the need to spin a Poké Stop, which can result in encounters with Snubbull but this research will disappear at 10pm on the 9th

Niantic have announced a new Incense Day in Pokémon GO. This day is Carvanha Day and will run on Sunday May 17th 2020 from 11am local time to 5pm local time. During this, Incense will predomiantly spawn the Pokémon Carvanha and other Dark-type and Water-type Pokémon alternating every hour. Scraggy and Alomomola will also appear

The Raid Bosses have changed in Pokémon GO. With this, from now until May 12th 2020 at 20:00 UTC, Giratina Altered Forme will be the Level 5 Raid Boss with its Shiny variant being available once again.

Following a delay from its previous time, it has been announced Pokémon GO Battle League Season 2 will begin on Monday May 11th at 20:00 UTC. With this, the times for each league have been altered
Great League will run from May 11th through June 1st
Ultra League will run from June 1st through June 22nd
Master League and Premier Cup will run from June 22nd through July 6th
All leagues will run from July 6th to July 13th.
Finally, Season 3 will begin on July 13th at 20:00 UTC
