Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on August 8th will focus on Magikarp. This event will 3* Capture Stardust and has 3 Hour Incense. It also gives the move Aqua Tail to Gyarados. It also provides a Community Day Box for 180 Coins providing 30 Ultra Balls, an Elite Charge TM, 6 Star Pieces and an Incense. There will also be a paid ticket for Special Research called "Making a Splash!". There will be Field Research to give Magikarp Candy as well. We'll bring more details as they come.
The Community Day runs at 11am to 5pm in each local time zone

The first Pokémon Café Mix Grand Prix is live. During this event, you compete with other players to earn stars and get ranked accordingly when the event ends. This event runs for 72 hours until the 31st of July at 06:00 UTC.
In Master Mode, the top player will win 15,000 Acorns, #2 7,500 acorns, #3 3,750 acorns, #4 & #5 1,800 Acorns, #6-10 a Helpers Paw and 11-50 get 150 Acorns
In Standard Mode, the top player will win 10,000 Acorns, #2 5,000 Acorns, #3 2,500 Acorns, #4 & #5 1,200 Acorns, #6-10 a Helpers Paw and 11-50 get 100 Acorns

A new event has been announced for Pokémon Masters. This event is called Summer, Sea, Music! and will run soon. It features a story where Lyra & Steven invite the player character to the beach and features the new Sync Pairs of Steven & Alolan Sandslash and Lyra & Jigglypuff

DeNA have announced another change coming in the new update arriving tomorrow. From tomorrow, the Weekly Mission Bingo cards will be removed. With this, daily mission rewards will be adjusted so you can still receive the same amount of Gems

The Pokémon Company International have been kind enough to offer us the exclusive official reveal of three of the cards in the upcoming set, Darkness Ablaze. This set is due out on August 14th. We can exclusively reveal the following cards, with their official dsecription
Eternatus VMAX: Harness the power of infinity as Eternatus VMAX enters the TCG for the first time! The chilling Eternmax form of the Gigantic Pokémon possesses the Eternal Zone Ability, allowing you to place up to eight Dark-type Pokémon on your Bench. As their numbers grow, so does the power of the Dread End attack; doing 30 damage for each of your Dark-type Pokémon in play!
Galarian Stunfisk V: Galarian Stunfisk V lies in wait on the battlefield ready to snap! Its powerful jaws give it the Trapping Bite attack, which deals 60 damage and lays a painful surprise for your opponent. If their Pokémon damages Galarian Stunfisk, you place twelve damage counters on it. Best watch your step!
Arctozolt: A storm of Ice and Lightning brews with Arctozolt, one of the four Galar Fossil Pokémon! The Ability Biting Whirlpool zaps your opponent’s Pokémon with two damage counters if they attach any Energy from their hand. This Ability works even from the bench, so Arctozolt can be a real shock to the system for unwary players!
