Golduck, The Duck Pokémon. Often seen swimming elegantly by lakes, it's limbs end in broad flippers. These make it a very proficient swimmer. It'll be seen swimming elegantly in lakes at Dusk. When it swims at full speed, it's forehead seems to glow mysteriously. It is much faster than the most athletic human swimmer because of it's webbed feet which are like flippers. It has been known to swim out to sea in storms to help people stuck on ships

Strategy Using Golduck
Golduck has well balanced stats and makes a good special sweeper. Its a pure water type although its learns quite a bit of psychic moves, so Psychic won't gain STAB.
Calm mind to increase special attack and special defense. Ice beam, Psychic and Surf are good sweeping moves, and Surf gains STAB too.
The ability you choose is entirely up to you. Damp is useful against an exploders that your opponent may use. But Cloud nine can either work for Golduck, or against it. For example, your opponent has used Sunny day, and you bring out Golduck, with this ability Sunny day won't effect the strength of your opponent's fire moves or your water type moves.
Timid, to increase Speed which it needs and to decrease one of its stats it doesn't use. The Salac berry will increase its speed when its HP is low.
EV's to increase its speed, special attack and special defense for the reasons that it needs these increases if you want it to last longer in battle.
Another possibility for this moveset is to replace ice beam with Hypnosis, Hypnosis will put your opponent to sleep if it hits and so, will probably force a switch of pokemon, whatever you prefer.

Strategy Against Golduck
Golduck's Defenses are practically equal...Your best bet here is to attack it with it's weaknesses such as Grass & Electric and it'll be gone in no time
