Weepinbell

Weepinbell, The Fly Catcher Pokémon. It spits out Poisonpowder to immobilize the enemy and it finishes the enemy off with a spray of Acid. When hungry, it swallows everything that moves. Its prey is melted inside by strong acids. Even though it is filled with acid, it does not melt because it oozes a neutralising fluid. If its prey is too large, it slices them up with Sharp leaves then eats. It has a large hook on it's rear end. At night it hooks onto a tree branch and sleeps. If it moves, it'll find itself on the ground when it wakes up.

Battle Moveset

A Good Moveset for Weepinbell would have to be this:

Attacks:

Sunny Day
Solar Beam
Hidden Power Fire OR Growth
Sludge Bomb

Items Attached:

Salac Berry

Preferred Nature:

Mild

Strategy Using Weepinbell

Yeah, I know Sunny day is a little risky, but with such a small movepool, it was fairly limited for choice.
Weepinbell has strong offensive stats but poor defensive stats. It can use both Physical and Special type moves effectively.
Its ability, Chlorophyll, double's Weepinbell's speed in strong sunlight, so it combo's well with Sunny day.
As for its nature, I thought it would be best that attack or special attack was lowered by a nature, so went with one that lowered defense. The reason is, even if it didn't have its defense lowered by a nature, it will still be bad and wouldn't be able to take a physical hit.
HP Fire works well along side Sunny day + Solarbeam, but if you don't want to work for HP Fire, try Growth instead, thats also a risk though with such poor defenses.
Sludge bomb works well with Weepinbell's attack strength and gains STAB too, making it a quite powerful attack on Weepinbell.
Most attacks could KO a Weepinbell, and if you attack it with a Flying/Fire/Psychic attack, they should Knock out Weepinbell.
Overall, Weepinbell may have trouble setting up a Sunny Day + Solarbeam combo, but its not like it has anything else going for it, you could try a physical sweeping moveset but, again, thats limited too.

EV Corner:

Max out the EVs in Attack for Weepinbell with any remaining in Speed & Special Attack

Strategy Against Weepinbell

Weepinbell's Defense's are about equal and below average. So any Pummel of attacks, especially Fire, Flying, Ice or Psychic should take it down in no time

Contest Moveset

A good Contest Moveset for Weepinbell would have to be this for the Smart Contest best with Calm, Gentle, Careful, Sassy Nature:

Attacks:

Solar Beam
Sleep Powder
Poison Powder
Stun Spore

Items Attached:

Green Scarf

Strategy Using Weepinbell

If you do the attacks in this following order you should have very few problems; 1st - Solarbeam, 2nd - Sleep powder, 3rd - Poisonpowder, 4th - Stun spore, 5th - Solarbeam

Animé Appearences

Weepinbell has had many Anime Appearences although many were Cameos. First, it was used by Joe in a battle against Misty. After that, James got one and it evolved into a Victreebel. After that, a group of them with other Grass Pokémon started causing problems in Oak's Lab. After that, James traded his Victreebel for another Weepinbell which then evolved and left
