Yoshi's Neutral Special attack will send out a Tongue that will grab any opponent in its reach and bring it into Yoshi's mouth. Some damage can be done here and then you press down and the opponent is released as an egg.

Yoshi's side special has Yoshi disappearing into an egg and rolling throughout the course. You can control the direction of Yoshi while using this attack and it continues until you hit someone or double-press the button.

Yoshi's up special has him throwing eggs upwards. These eggs can be angled and distance controlled utilising the control stick. Once they have been out for a certain time, or have hit someone or something, they will have a small explosion that will cause decent damage to any nearby enemies.

Yoshi's down move is essentially a slam into the ground. If used in the air, Yoshi will just come plumetting down beneath him, hitting anyone beneath it. If used on the ground, Yoshi will jump up and flip forwards slightly before doing it. When Yoshi hits the ground, 2 stars appear, knocking the enemies back to the sides.

Yoshi's Final Smash remains unchanged from Super Smash Bros. Brawl and is combines two of his Mario World abilities; the ability to fly, and the ability to breath fire. With the Final Smash, you can move Yoshi around the air of the stage. While flying around, Yoshi will automatically spit fireballs forwards which will damage opponents.
