Gaur Plains is a brand new stage based upon the area of the same name set on Bionis' Leg in the 2010 Wii hit, Xenoblade Chronicles. This stage is relatively simple and features various platforms hanging over a large precipice with Mechonis, one of the gods, in the background. These platforms can all be passed up and down
This stage also is unique in that it has a day/night cycle which has the aesthetics of the area change. It's also unique in that, in the Wii U version, the boss Metal Face will come on the stage and start attacking platforms, needing to be attacked itself to stop its destruction
