The Tomodachi Life level is set on the Mii Apartment building set on Tomodachi Island. This level has got multiple stages and appears closed off if you're on the roof. However, as you go through the various floors, you will open up each apartment. These are only open whenever a player is wirthin them, but you can jump into them at any time
In each apartment, you will see various Miis doing activities including exercise and playing games consoles. These Miis aren't just random combinations but rather the game pulls the Miis you have on your Switch and uses them.
