Pokémon Pass Details
App Name: Pokémon Pass
Release Date: May 1st 2019
Region: United States
Developer: The Pokémon Company International
Pokémon Pass is an app that ties in with various in-store promotions. These can include anything from special stickers that can be used in the apps internal camera or to redeeming event distributions for the main series Pokémon games.
This app requires location functionality in order to fully work. It also requires you to log in to the Pokémon Trainer Club.
The app has got a camera feature. This camera is largely limited in features compared to other cameras but allows for you to place various stickers you obtain at events. These can then be saved onto your phone or tablet and shared. The sticker can be moved on the screen for better placement using the device's touch screen
This feature is accessed through the "Completed Activities" section of the app which shows all rewards you have received.
To redeem rewards, you need to actually be in the store in question. With location services turned on, if the app detects that you are within the viscinity of the participating store, the background of the app's index will change colour and the active activities will state that you have arrived. If you click them, then you will be able to redeem them.
Redeeming them typically requires you to scan the QR Code that is on display at the store. However, you can skip this by pressing the ? in the bottom left and selecting "Skip Step". From there, the item in question can be redeemed.
All activities completed are then registered in the Completed Actvities section of the app
