Pokémon Bank - New Gift
It has been announced that the Johto Starters are to be distributed this year with their Hidden Abilities. From February 27th 2015 to November 30th 2015, if you access Pokémon Bank, you will receive Meganium, Typhlosion and Feraligatr with their Hidden Abilities of Leaf Guard, Flash Fire and Sheer Force respectively. These are distributed through the Pokémon Link feature nto Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire with a limit of 1 of each per Pokémon Bank

Following the location tests across Japan last week, Bandai Namco have included high quality imagery of the arcade cabinets that the Pokkén Tournament arcade game will be playable in across arcades in Japan later this year. This shows that there are control guides always below the screen and fully shows the special controller designed for use with this game

Pokémon ORAS - Battle Competition
The next Battle Competition has been announced. This competition is called the 2015 International Challenge and is only for Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire and is a Double Battle. In this competition, the rules match the current rules set forth in the Video Game Championships of National Pokédex only without being able to use the standard range of legends. No entry gift has been detailed at this time. Registration runs from February 19th until February 26th while the competition runs from February 27th to March 1st.This competition does not give Championship Points for Play! Pokémon players.

Pokémon ORAS - Battle Competition
Registration for the latest battle competition has begun. This competition is called the Generation Showdown and is only for Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire and is a Double Battle. In this competition, you can use all Pokémon from the National Pokédex except Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect or Diancie. However, you can only have up to 2 of the following in your Battle Box: Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal or Zygarde. Registration runs until February 12th while the competition runs from February 13th to February 15th. All entrants get 1000 PokéMiles.

Pokémon VGC 2015 - Regionals
It has been confirmed that, with the various Regional Championships are to take place in North America over the next few months, the first of these Regional Championships, the one in St. Louis, will be streamed next week for the first time, following the streaming of Nationals and Worlds last year. The regionals are as follows
St. Louis, MO: February 14–15, 2015, at the St. Charles Convention Center
Portland, OR: February 14–15, 2015, at the DoubleTree by Hilton
Doswell, VA: February 14–15, 2015, at the Exhibition Hall at the Meadow Event Park
Lancaster, CA: February 14–15, 2015, at the Pioneer Event Center
Kissimmee, FL: February 28–March 1, 2015, at the Park Inn by Radisson Resort & Conference Center
