Pokémon Sun & Moon - Battle Competition
Details for the next Battle Competition have been announced. This is the No Holds Barred competition, known in Japan as Spectral Thief. This is a Single Battle competition using rules where you cannot use Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Arceus, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal, Solgaleo or Lunala. All other Mythical and Legendary Pokémon can be used including Marshadow. All Pokémon will be raised to Level 100 for the duration of the competition. You can also run duplicate items and duplicate Pokémon. Registration runs from August 17th to August 24th. Battles will run from August 25th to August 27th. All entrants will get the 50 Battle Points. Download Rules for this competition are now available from Festival Plaza

Pokémon Sun & Moon - Hoenn Cap Pikachu
To tie in with the 20th movie, Pokémon! I Choose You, the repeat of the second special promotion has begun in Japan. If you had previously prebooked tickets in Japan, you would have received get a Serial Code that can be used to unlock one of six Pikachu wearing one of Ash's caps from over the years. This distribution provides Hoenn Cap Pikachu, which has Ash's hat from the Advanced series of the anime. This Pikachu also comes with the special Pikashunium Z Z-Crystal which turns the move Thunderbolt into the Z-Move 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt. This distribution is available until August 14th and is the last chance to get this Cap of Pikachu in Japan. No international distributions have been announced at this time

Pokémon Shuffle - Events
A few brand new challenges have begun on Pokémon Shuffle and Pokémon Shuffle Mobile.
First is a new stage featuring Tapu Koko. This stage will run until August 15th 2017
Next is the start of a new "Start of Month Challenge". For the first three days of each month, you can play one of these stages. You can retry doing it with 1 Jewel. The stage you get is random and you have a special bonus if you beat it. Audino gives 3 Mega Speedup, Bulbasaur a Skill Booster L, Charmander 2 Mega Speedup, Squirtle 5,000 Coins and Espurr 10 Hearts.
There's also a new Great Challenge Daily Pokémon. Each day you'll get access to an old Great Challenge Pokémon. In this batch, Hoopa, Togekiss (Winking), Wigglytuff (Winking), Wailord, Keldeo, Greninja and Omastar
Finally, the stages for Goodra, Regice, and Suicune have begun repeat runs.
All of these require the version 1.4.18 to download. Our Pokémon listings have been updated with these Pokémon

Pokémon Shuffle - Events
If you were one of the lucky players worldwide who ranked in the Shiny Mega Tyranitar competitive stage over the past week, then the prize is now available to be received. The Tyranitarite/Level Up, Attack Power, Mega Speedup and Raise Max Level for the higher ranked players will be obtained. If you didn't qualify, then you can redeem an Attack Power. To get these items, simply Check In between now and August 8th 2017 at 06:00 UTC and you will receive the item.

Pokémon Sun & Moon - Episode Title
A Japanese TV guide has released a set of new episode titles for Pokémon Sun & Moon in Japan. These episodes are due to air on August 17th, 24th and 31st respectively. The first has Jessie and Mimikyu get separated after a battle with Ash. The second features Mallow's father being the focus of a TV interview and the final one has Ash & Lana meet a trainer with a Brionne
