Pokémon World Championships - Trading Card Game
During the opening ceremony at the 2018 Pokémon World Championships, some new information was revealed for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. This revealed Tag Team GX, a new card style with two Pokémon that can do even more damage but, if knocked out, causes the opponent to take 3 Prize Cards

At the Pokémon World Championships, The Pokémon Company revealed that, for the duration of the weekend, certain Rare Pokémon will spawn in higher amounts around the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee in addition to unique PokéStop

Edit @ 16:35: In addition to Unown, some uniue Field Research has also appeared around the event. Catch 10 Pokémon to get a Corsola encounter. All PokéStops around the World Championships are giving this Research

It has been announced that, to coincide with the Johto Festival, Ho-Oh is to re-enter Raid Battles until August 27th 2018. With this, you have another chance to get Ho-Oh's Shiny variant

During the opening ceremony at the 2018 Pokémon World Championships, some new information was revealed for the upcoming movie, Pokémon Detective Pikachu. This showed the new logo for the movie as well as reconfirmation that it comes out in May 2019

Pokémon World Game Championships 2018
Today marks the first day of the Pokémon World Championships and, like recent events, the entire event is going to be officially streamed by The Pokémon Company International across four different streams. Each game has got its own individual stream and there will be a stream that switches between the two

Pokkén Tournament DX
The next special Group Match has been announced on Pokkén Tournament DX. From September 7th through 9th you can participate in the "Shadow Drop Cup" Group Match. This cup is a Basic Battle competition, once again on a Fixed Battle Arena. Participating in this brings a special title reward based on Gengar, and if you place highly you'll get other titles based on your placement.

Pokémon Duel - Update
The smartphone game, Pokémon Duel, has had a new update. This patch takes it to version 6.2.0 and requires 247MB of space on your mobile device to download. It is required to update in order to play the game
This patch introduces tiered Boosters with the higher tiers giving better chances at rarer figures. With this, it introduced the special UX figures of Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon & Flareon.
In addition to tis, a new Queen's Cup event has begun. This event runs until August 29th and has the new figure of Mega Gyarados as a special reward
