Pokémon: Detective Pikachu
A new trailer has been released for the upcoming live-action movie, Pokémon - Detective Pikachu, which is due for global release on May 10th 2019. It stars Justice Smith as Tim Goodman, Kathryn Newton as Lucy Stevens and Ryan Reynolds as Pikachu. This new teaser trailer showcases more elements of the movie and extended shots of existing scenes. We have updated our Cinematic Pokédex with new Pokémon seen in this trailer

Pokémon Pass
The Pokémon Pass app is now available in the US. This app is to be used in the US at Target to receive the Shiny Pikachu and Eevee in Let's Go, Pikachu & Eevee as reported yesterday. This distribution runs from May 11 to June 23. The Pikachu and Eevee aren't identical to the Korean ones reported the other day as they have different moves and so have been added to our Event Database
Pokémon Pass also acts as a camera app and utilises various stickers with the camera with a Detective Pikachu one currently being distributed when you download the app. At present the app is only available in the US for Android and iOS devices

Today, from 20:00 UTC, the Field Research will start to shift in Pokémon GO and with that, there will be new Research Breakthroughs of Lugia, Ho-Oh, Latios and Latias. With this, there will be new research that we are starting to catalogue in our Field Research section

Pokémon GO - Legendary Dinner Hour
Following the commencement of the concept earlier this year and the surprise "Dinner Hour" event on April 19th, another Dinner Hour of Legendary raids, this time focusing on Groudon, is running today from 6pm local time. At present it has been reported in New Zealand and is expected to continue onwards globally throughout the day

Pokémon Duel - Team Match
A new Team Match event has opened pre-registration in Pokémon Duel. This Duel Match has you choose a team of either Dragonite, Garchomp or Salamence. During the Team Match, you just play as normal online and your wins count towards your team. Pre-Registration runs until May 3rd while the Team Match event runs from May 3rd through to May 6th, with reward redemption being until May 9th
