Pokémon GO
The next Pokémon GO event has begun. This is the Bug Out event and features increased Bug-type Pokémon spawns, Incense running for 60 minutes with more Pokémon spawns within, Bug-type Pokémon focused field research and more. It runs until Tuesday April 9th 20:00 UTC. We're currently adding all elements of this event as and when we get them so be sure to keep checking our section

The new Level 5 Raid Boss is now starting to appear in Pokémon GO. From now until 20:00 UTC on April 29th 2019, Giratina Origin Forme will appear as a Level 5 Raid Boss. We'll provide all Raid Bosses as and when we can so keep checking back

Pokémon: Detective Pikachu
Today, Detective Pikachu got confirmed to be coming to China on the same day as most of the world, May 10th. With that, a new poster got released with a different style, showcasing many of the Pokémon within the movie. With this, a new trailer was released. It showcases some extended footage of various scenes already seen. We're currently awaiting an official upload

Pokémon GO - April Fools Event
Following the surprise release of the Original Cap Pikachu through Photobomb in Pokémon GO's GO Snapshot feature on Sunday, as it's now hitting April 3rd in various time zones, it appears that Smeargle has now returned to being the focus which indicates that you have until 23:59 local time to get any Ash Cap Pikachu through this method. We're currently investigating further

Pokémon Duel - Bibarel Gift
Following yesterday's April Fools joke of a rebalance of the game to include an overpowered Bidoof figure in the Queen's Cup, the game has now been updated to inform you that it was a prank and, as a celebration of it, the new figure of Bibarel is being distributed to players who played on April Fool's Day. Redemption lasts until April 5th 07:59 UTC

Pokémon VGC 2019 - Ruleset
The ruleset for all Video Game Championships events has changed as of today. From today, all VGC events, as well as the Championship Battle mode on Battle Spot will be running the Ultra Series GS Cup rules. This bans finally allows all Mega Stones, Red Orb, Blue Orb and Z-Crystals while allowing 2 Restricted Legendary Pokémon per team
Battle Type: Double Battle
Pokémon Restrictions: National Pokédex.
Pokémon Limits: Teams may have no more than two of the following Pokémon: Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala & Necrozma.
Banned Pokémon: Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Magearna, Marshadow, Zearora or Ash-Greninja, Pokémon not captured or hatched in Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
