Niantic have announced the next possible Pokémon GO event. If enough people participate in their Earth Day clean up from April 13th to April 28th, then there will be various bonuses introduced in Pokémon GO
If 2000 attend, there will be an increased appearance of Ground-type Pokémon.
If 5,000 attend, then there will be an increased appearance of Ground-type Pokémon and shiny Diglett will become available
If 7,000 attend, then will be an increased appearance of Ground-type Pokémon, Shiny Diglett, 2* Catch Stardust & Candy for Event spawns and Groudon will return to raids.
Niantic have announced various ways to sign up to participate on their official site and players with small groups or on their own can tag themselves in on Twitter tagging @NianticLabs in #AugmentedReality. We'll provide further details as they come

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon - Special Battle Season 15

The Battle Spot Special Battle rules for Season 15 have been revealed. Season 15 will run from April 2nd through June 17th and runs on Sun & Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, with rankings separate to eachother. This ruleset only allows Pokémon that can only have the move Metronome across all generations (except Mewtwo, Dusclops and Dusknoir)
Battle type: Single Battle
Pokémon Restrictions: Only Clefairy, Clefable, Mankey, Primeape, Poliwhirl, Poliwrath, Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam, Machop, Machoke, Machamp, Geodude, Graveler, Golem, Gengar, Drowzee, Hypno, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Chansey, Mr. Mime, Jynx, Electabuzz, Magmar, Snorlax, Mew, Cleffa, Togepi, Togetic, Politoed, Aipom, Snubbull, Granbull, Teddiursa, Ursaring, Smeargle, Smoochum, Miltank, Blissey, Celebi, Ludicolo, Makuhita, Hariyama, Sableye, Meditite, Medicham, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Spinda, Kecleon, Banette, Jirachi, Ambipom, Happiny, Munchlax, Electivire, Magmortar, Togekiss.
Attack Restrictions: Metronome only
Item Restrictions: No Mega Stones

The other standard rules apply, including all set to Level 50 if above that, and you choose 1 Pokémon out of your 6, and you cannot have two Pokémon holding the same hold item. Battles have a 10 minute duration, with turns having a 60 second timer. Pokémon transferred through Pokémon Bank are usable in this ruleset

Pokémon Duel - Team Match

A new Team Match event has opened pre-registration in Pokémon Duel. This Duel Match has you choose a team of either Dragonite, Garchomp or Salamence. During the Team Match, you just play as normal online and your wins count towards your team. Pre-Registration runs until March 28th while the Team Match event runs from March 28th through to March 31st, with reward redemption being until April 3rd
