Pokémon Sword & Shield

The previous Wild Area event featuring Magikarp has finished and so the Wild Area event, obtained simply by going online or by going to Mystery Gift > Get Wild Area News, has reverted back to the December 2019 event which contains increased spawns of certain Gigantamax Pokémon and the only way to get Gigantamax Snorlax. Pokémon VGC 2020 - Ruleset

The ruleset for all Video Game Championships events has changed as of today. From today, all VGC events, the VGC 2020 ruleset will be used. This brings Pokémon Sword & Shield officially into competitive play
Battle Type: Double Battle
Pokémon Restrictions: Galar Pokédex.
Banned Pokémon: Mew, Zacian, Zamazenta, Eternatus, Pokémon not captured or hatched in Sword or Shield
Allowed Gigantamax Pokémon: Butterfree, Corviknight, Drednaw, Centiskorch, Meowth, Pikachu, Eevee, Snorlax, Sandaconda, Charizard (but only with Blaze)
Clauses: No same Pokémon, No same item
Players may only use Pokémon with items or moves obtained in Pokémon Sword & Shield
Match Time: 15 Minutes
Your Time: 7 minutes
