A new Mystery Gift has started to run on Mystery Gift > Receive Via Internet. Two gifts are available: One is a Level 15 Hidden Ability Galarian Mr. Mime and the other is a collection of balls: Lure Ball, Heavy Ball, Moon Ball and Dream Ball. At present it's unclear why these are being distributed or for how long they'll be given but we'll provide details as we can. We have updated the Event Database with the details of this event
Edit @ 06:01: Further details of the distribution have been given. This distribution will run until 23:59 UTC on May 28th 2020. Following that, more distributions will run:
Galarian Ponyta will run from May 29th 2020 00:00 UTC to June 4th 23:59 UTC alongside another Ball set of Level Ball, Fast Ball, Love Ball, Friend Ball and Beast Ball
Galarian Corsola will run from June 5th 2020 00:00 UTC to June 11th 23:59 UTC alongside an Evolution Item set of Sweet Apple, Tart Apple, Chipped Pot, Cracked Pot, Whipped Dream and Sachet
Galarian Meowth will run from June 12th 2020 00:00 UTC alongisde a set of 50 Big Nugget and 100 EXP. Candy L. This is said to prepare players for the Isle of Armor

Pokémon Sword & Shield
Battles for the next online competition have begun. This competition, 2020 International Challenge May, is a Double Battle competition runs VGC Rules. This competition allows players to compete towards the Pokémon Players Cup where the Top 256 players from each region who are eligible will move on to the special competition.
Battles will run from May 22nd 00:00 UTC to May 24th 23:59 UTC. All players get a special Casual Tee (Ultra Ball Guy).

Pokémon HOME
A new update is live for Pokémon HOME on mobile. With this update, there are multiple fixes including the addition of Battle Data and various bug fixes. To celebrate, for a limited time, with an end date to be announced later, you can now trade with friends far away in the app. The time that the Wonder Box requires to complete has been reduced to 1 hour and you can now join 10 Free Room Trades a day, with the times utilised shortened
Battle Data will show you your data for previous competitions and Ranked Battle options. You can also then check previous Ranked Battle Series or Online Competitions to see rankings including what Pokémon use and the moves, items and abilities it used, much like the Global Link did with Gen 6 and 7 Pokémon games

Pokémon GO
The Throwback Challenge 2020 Sinnoh event is starting to roll out for Pokémon GO players. From 13:00 local time today, May 22nd to 13:00 local time on May 29th, Sinnoh Pokémon will spawn in increased numbers, have increased raids and so forth. There's also a Pikachu in a Lucario hat spawning in the game and unique Throwback Timed Special Research which results in a Cresselia encounter. This research needs to be completed to get the Special Research featuring Galarian Form Pokémon in June. We're currently compiling all details of this event so be sure to keep checking back
