Pokémon GO
Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the Unova Celebration Event and featured an increased focus of Unova Pokémon. It runs from January 5th 08:00 local time to January 10th 22:00 local time.
This event features increased spawns of Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Lillipup, Herdier, Blitzle, Roggenrola, Drilbur, Scraggy, Tympole, Venipede, Trubbish, Gothita, Solosis and Ferroseed with Shiny Snivy appearing starting with this event
Roggenrola, Sewaddle, Petilil, Emolga, Karrablast, Joltik, Elgyem, and Shelmet will be in 5km Eggs
There will be Field Research tasks that give Stardust or encounters with Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott or Ferroseed
There will be 1 Star Raids of Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Timburr, Dwebble, and Klink, 3 Star raids featuring Herdier, Tranquill, Excadrill, and Amoonguss and the 5 Star raid features Burn Drive Genesect, though it is incapable of being shiny.
A new feature will be in this event for Collection Challenges. More information will come in early January.
Following this event will be the Sinnoh Celebration Event which runs from January 12th through 17th

Pokémon Café Mix
The Shiny Celebi login bonus has now started in Pokémon Café Mix. This event offers special daily bonuses including 7,000 Acorns with Shiny Celebi being given on the third day of login bonuses. This runs until January 31st
